Predictable I know, but one of them has to be Geoff Bradford.
    Bristolian...one club man...15 seasons....462 games and 242 goals...England international
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geoff_Bradford
and with him......Rickie Lambert - a player of different class.

...and that's leaving out Randall, Biggs, Ward, Cureton, Ellington, Hayles, Roberts..
bluddy 'ell....we've had some great strikers!

Agree completely regarding GB Pirate, but we have had some cracking strikers and I based mine on the experiance of actually seeing them play, unfortunetely I didnt get to see GB play.

Bradford was well before my time, but his scoring record and legacy sets him apart from every single player in Rovers history bar none! I might not have witnessed him play first hand, but would be a scandal if he wasn't first name on the team sheet.
    As for Lambert...

I just don't think anyone can find better from Hayles, Ellington, Stewart or Cureton!

I was lucky enough to see Geoff Bradford towards the end of his career.
I recommend the recently published book by Ian Haddrell and Mike Jay,
'Geoff Bradford - Bristol Rovers Legend'.
Great photos and accounts of our time in the 'old' Second Division.
Bradford scored a total of 24 hat-tricks, played in nine outfield positions
during his career at Rovers and scored double figures (best 34 - 1952/53)
    in twelve consecutive seasons.

Definitely Geoff Bradford, there can be no debate abotu including our all-time top scorer and a player that represented England while at the club. Who partners him would be really tough. Lambert is a great shout. Randall was good in the first part of his career. Penrice was amazing. And the list goes on. The club have had a few good forwards. In theory Scott Sinclair is one of our best even though we never saw him.

My choices are Geoff Bradford and Jason Roberts. Roberts is still cutting it in the Prem, so shows he was quality.
