Is anyone starting to get pissed off with Enrique?

  1. I wish he'd stop leaving us in the shadows, and either say "I'm staying" or "I'm too good for Newcastle, now i'm pissing off to a better team". Atleast we'd know as quickly as possible so we could plan what we're going to do if he leaves.

I'm sick of all this "Newcastle United is an excellent club with a great foundation.." but then he doesn't say what he wants to do, or he says "If i stay i stay, if i go i go".

He promised that he'd open contract talks as soon as we were mathematically safe, now the moment has come, he's making the same bullshit comments over and over.

All he's doing is delaying our plans. The quicker he confirms he wants to leave, the quicker we can start looking at left backs.

Don't get me wrong, i'd love him to stay, but i want a clear answer so i can deal with the depression faster or breath a huge sigh of relief. They way Jose is going on, i'm stressed like mad wondering what he's going to do. He's a big part of the team, and if i know what's going to happen earlier, i can get over it earlier.

He probably is unsure of his future, and wants to see how things work out.

Would you prefer him to say 'I'm staying' only to leave due to us not signing anyone in the transfer window? Then everyone would jump on his back for 'lying'.

Let's just see what happens. He will probably leave. But only he knows, so. <ok>

Yeah, I know what you're saying, I wish we could find out what's happening with him sooner rather than later. The fact he looks miserable (to me at least) in most of his recent matches is pretty annoying too. But I'd imagine it's his agent that won't let him talk about it to be fair, so I don't know. I'll be disappointed if he lives after he give it the whole "I want to stay here the rest of my career" (maybe we should have offered a new contract then?) and then one year later he's trying to get away =/

  4. Yes but i'm stressed out just thinking about it. I'd like to be put our of my misery because he'll be a big miss. It'll be like Andy Carroll saga all over again.

    Al is that you? :p
Name changing jokes aside, I think from his latest interview in the Ronnie Gill that he may change his mind and stay if he sees the right investment and calibre of player coming in (a bit like Taylor changed his mind), but it's best to assume that he will be off.

If he's unsure about his future still then it's best to say **** all to the press rather than a contradicting interview like todays. Cuz telling us about the future here then refusing to committ is a bit of a piss take.

Don't think it'll quite have the same impact the Carroll thing did, we expected him to stay, he was a Geordie (not anymore the unwashed pikey prick :D) whereas Enrique is from Spain, we dont expect the same thing. Plus Carroll was banging them in every other game, Enrique is just a left back (thats how I like to think of it anyway lol)

I hope this saga won't take a whole summer to end.

If he wants to leave , I hope he declares that just after the West Brom game so we can start looking for a replacement before the window opens.

And don't sell him for less than 15m , even if he hands a transfer request in and Liverpool refuse to pay 15m.

Pardew's message should be these exact words : ''15m or **** off''

I dont see why people are that bothered to be honest.... If he doesnt want to play then he can **** off.... No-one is bigger then Newcastle United, We survived when Shearer retired, when Carrol left, when we were relegated we came straight back...

Next season we will be a bigger and better team whether "luis" is here or not.... We have players like Ferguson who have talent and will give 110% id rather have him in any day, then a slightly over-rated left back, who is looking for his next big move................................

Its his loss if, he leaves everyone knows how special SJP is!!! so no biggie

If he goes i'm not bothered, spells this year where he has looked un-interested and I have hated that, he's a smarmy bastard recently. Either say you're staying or you're going enough pissing around Jose.

We were only mathematically safe on Saturday man, so how has he been making the same bullshit comments 'over and over'? Give him more than two ****ing days.

Anyway, I think Enrique has always wanted more than just safety. He wants to see whether Ashley will provide any funds and who else will be bought in the Summer before he decides. He has ambition, but if that can be fulfilled at Newcastle (based on the quality of the players we sign for next season) he might stay put.
