Reckon Evans will pick up a booking against Blackpool so he will serve his 5 yellows suspension for the FA Cup game. Be silly not to.

What a great win and impressive performance, couldn't have been more convincing performance, other the score line could have been 5 or 6 nil.

Just reading BBC website about the game, there reporting is getting worse. "Hull finally took a deserved lead when on-loan Manchester United midfielder Evans collected Koren's pass before calmly beating Kenny".

He's made it to the new year without 5 bookings, he needs another 5 now to get a ban.

Never really understood the logic in that rule but hey ho

From the 1st of January it's ten yellows for a suspension so it matters not if he gets booked against Blackpool

did anyone else find it annoying that the announcer kept talking about how leeds just missed out on chris wood? why would anyone who was wanted by the top teams in the league want to go play for leeds?

Leeds are about the only club who I don't recall being linked with Wood to be fair.

Completely outclassed them. They came for a point and had no threat at all.

Becchio was left on the bench all match - he must be a gonner in the JTW because it's pure insanity to bench an 18 goal striker in a tough away fixture.

Never thought I would see the day when we would outplay Leeds like we did today. We looked in command from start to finish and Leeds didn't really offer anything, and any threat they did make was comfortably snuffed out by us. Hard to pick a man of the match today, there are plenty of contenders! Brady looks streets ahead of the player he was last season and Leeds just couldn't cope with him, Elmo, Quinn, Aluko and Koren. A very happy Tiger nation as we head into 2013, long may it continue!

This was my first match watching live. We - can I say 'we'? 'We' coulda scored at least 4 today. It was a very exciting match and control was 'ours' for pretty much the whole game.

He was incredible defensively, but booted it long a few too many times for me under no pressure which spoilt the tackle or interception he'd just made. Not even decent clearances either just random boots up in the air. Still can't understand why he was out of the team so long though. This is definitely our best back 3.

They really are ****ed up. All football crowds boo people at some point, but usually it's someone who cheats, is dirty or does something to upset them. White could have broken his leg there, it was another shocking challenge like the one they got away with on Faye at their place earlier in the yet they have the cheek to boo him for the rest of the game for not politely receiving his injury like a good boy. Obviously they can't help that their team are thugs, but they don't half promote it.

That's the best excuse though isn't it?

That was a proper finish from Evans though. I hope the likes of Fryatt, Koren and Aluko took note because that is how you shoot inside the area. Power, low, in the corner, no ****ing about. Never thought I'd be using Evans as an example to copy from.

Spoke to a Leeds supporting friend after the game about Becchio. He said if you're gonna bench him they might as well have started him. The 'knock' can't have been that bad if he was on the bench.

The lads looked to be really enjoying themselves out there, That move in the 2nd half when we where attacking on the edge of their area and elmo, aluko and Koren where flicking the ball around like it was a playground kick around. We defended well, Bossed the midfield and looked too good for them up front. Elmo was fantastic today after his knock he seemed to get fired up, Although he may well be in bother for giving the leeds fans a 'gesture'. Evans also did well, Broke up play, and took his goal well. I was also suprised at just how bad Leeds where, I know they arent the best team in Europe (Although, someone should tell their fans) but they just didn't seem interested. I'm certainly looking forward to the second haf of the season.

Leeds fans appear to want to sack Colin and get Di Matteo or Paul Lambert in his place.
