No, it's because we don't really have someone who can get the ball down and hold it and Wood can do just that. Nugent will profit off him, i'm sure of that.
A goal every 3 games puts a striker at 15 goals a season. Hardly a bad return for a free transfer. He's got 26 in 60 games for us. Besides. we have about 5 players capable to getting 10+ goals a season.
