Only a guess but are they the correct audio format?

the current supported audio formats for the iPhone (3GS / 4 / 4S) are:

AAC (Bitrates 8 to 320 Kbps)
    HE-AAC
Protected AAC (used for DRM copy protection on the iTunes Store)
    ALAC (Apple Lossless)
    MP3 (bitrates 8 to 320 Kbps)
    MP3 VBR (Variable Bitrate)
    AA (Audible formats 2, 3, 4) / Audible Enhanced Audio / AAX / AAX+
    WAV
    AIFF

My son has software on his computers to sort his downloads from iTunes for his iPhone 5.
The sod loaded it on this computer and it took me ages to get rid of the insidious ****.

Connect your phone to your laptop and wait for it all to happen, if you've never done it before it may take some time, its really that simple mate

You have to work really hard to load songs on anything Apple as they want you to pay THEM for them.
If they are greyed out I would assume if you bought them, Apple is blocking them until they are confirmed online.

Until it goes through Apples confirmation it wont count, it's making sure no one else has used the gift codes involved.
Get yourself onto the many forums to help you bypass Apples draconian security that stops you using your phone legitimately to it's full potential.

    I know what you've done i think?

Is it saying something like 'unable to find original source'?
