But Ferguson gets of scot free???!!! FFS I know, I know, Sir Alex has his own rulebook but **** me it is annoying! Arry only stating a bleeding fact while Ferguson was working the refs in his very own manipulative way please log in to view this image The Football Association has written to Harry Redknapp and Roberto Mancini over their criticism of referees. QPR boss Redknapp spoke of "scandalous" decisions in the 2-1 Premier League defeat by West Brom on Boxing Day. Manchester City boss Mancini accused officials of missing a foul on Pablo Zabaleta in the build-up to Adam Johnson's winner in the 1-0 defeat at Sunderland. Both could be charged with improper conduct. The FA sent letters to both managers, requesting their observations on their post-match comments. Redknapp, whose side slipped back to the bottom of the table, argued that goalkeeper Rob Green was obstructed before he pushed the ball into his own net for West Brom's decisive second goal. Mancini criticised referee Kevin Friend, questioning whether "maybe the referee ate too much for Christmas", and claimed what he thought was a foul on Zabaleta was so blatant it was "impossible two men couldn't see it". http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20859154
Ferguson' rant towards the refs before the second half was about to kick off was NOT in the heat of the moment, it was a calculated move trying to influence the outcome of an ongoing match. Now tell me how that can be brushed under the carpet and Redknapp is in danger of a disciplinary charge for something he says after a match, only stating what everyone else in the ground saw? I don't buy this "it wasn't in the refs match report so we can't investigate it" bull****.
As a football manager Old Whiskey Nose is unrivalled but he is without doubt the most odious person involved in football possibly even worse than MR Rascism 2011/2012, I really hate the whinging old sweaty sock!!!
That foul on Zabaleta was just incredible. I still can't believe it wasn't given. The amount of key decisions that have gone against City this season beggars belief. As for the QPR game I'm amazed that MOTD tried to convince the public that wasn't a foul on Green. They want shirt pulling outlawed but yet it's perfectly acceptable to push or back into a keeper? The handball also blatant and am shocked the linesman didn't give it, he must have seen it. It really has been a terrible season for refereeing so far. The Chelsea v Man U game, Liverpool v Man U, QPR v WBA, Fulham v Man City, Everton v Newcastle, Arsenal v QPR, West Ham v Everton, Wigan v Arsenal, Newcastle v Wigan. I could go on all day. The aforementioned aren't even games where a few 50/50s went to either side here and there it was just games of horrendous refereeing and officiating.
As we already know is run by a bunch of useless t@@@. Not in the referees report, and yet they can charge players by television pictures, what a joke the fa is they employ inept official's (bunch of cretins).
The problem is that MOTD gave Shearers' viewpoint and he would say it was ok because he did that himself as a striker, neither Lineker or Lawrenson uttered a word.....
I'm so deflated about this season now that I can't summon up the energy to get angry about this latest FA bollocks. However, I do agree that the standard of officiating has been generally dreadful.
Did anybody else notice Cisse get his shirt pulled halfway up his back on one of our late corners? The crap that goes on at corners and free kicks now is just ridiculous. When I played pub football in Italy as a dodgy right or centre back, the first thing the locals (including an ex Atalanta reserve) taught me was how to make a nuisance of myself with my hands held ostentatiously behind my back going into challenges. Positioning and body weight are enough, if you do it right there is no need to grab and pull. Especially with my body weight.
