Pardew was banned from the touchline for 2 games pal so he was punished. Your illustrious leader is notorious for getting away with blue murder whether it be his attitude toward the press, his fellow managers, his players and opposition players. You would have to be as obnoxious and as ignorent as he is to not see that he is continually allowed to get away behaving like a bitter old man. As soon as things go against him he jumps all over anyone who will listen, and the over aggressive manner in which he puts his point across is what really irritates everyone.

We all respected Rafa alot more for taking on the establishment (i.e. Mr Ferguson and the media moguls that dare not side against him) and telling it like it is. Look how ostracised Rafa was for making those comments, shortly after he lost his job at Liverpool, coincidence? Hmm...

You obviously missed the point, I was referring to the usual media outcry for someone standing up to Fergie.

Gillingham fan here in peace <ok>

I just want to say that Newcastle aren't, never have been and never will be a "wee club". I should know, I support a team who are four divisions below and could only dream of having FA Cup or Capital One Cup ties against a giant like Newcastle. There was a film that came out a couple of years ago called "The Shouting Men" where we played you in the FA Cup quarter finals (I think it was shown in a cinema in Newcastle somewhere). Needless to say guys you aren't a small club and SAF is just a massive WUM.

Anyways good luck for the rest of the season and try and keep a hold of Demba Ba for me.

    <cheers>

"Everton are a big club, not a small one which Benitez arrogantly said," said Ferguson.

    <laugh> <laugh> Hypocrite...

<laugh> Of gargantuan proportions. To be fair even some of his own support despise what he is on a behaviour front which tells you all you need to know.

Haha despise might be a strong word WP, I suspect tolerate would be more accurate... Hell, I'd have Pardew jumping around like a prick for a few league titles

Hilarious sour grapes from Ferguson, he's really losing it - along with his comment about "RVP could have died" you've got to wonder.

Pardew's comments weren't v derogatory at all, simply pointing out when he does the same he usually gets a ban. Ferguson has flown off the handle and started spouting all this bullshit. Disgusting, seems we really rattled their cages by giving them a game with our depleted squad.

Some of them dislike him on that front. I'm sure there is one on the not606 boards who feels quite strongly that he's a bit of a disgrace and lacks class. As I said earlier I'd have him, top class manager and uses his influence well.

As a manager Fergie is almost peerless.

As a person he is an utter **** IMHO. For year's he's been pretty much above the law and some of the things that come out of his wino gob are ridiculous. I was actually in disbelief last week when he said the 'ball assault' on RVP was the worst things he had ever seen. Obviously he was overlooking the violent (and criminal) assault on the Palace fan by Cantona and Keane's assault on Inge Harland.

He should retire gracefully before his personal shortcomings start to blight was has been a glittering career.

Would a man of class like Sir Bobby behave like that?... nope.

Managers and players should have the same treatment... I played in a sunday league match about three weeks ago and the ref was brandishing yellow cards to anyone who swore in his direction or at someone on the other team.. When i asked him what was going on he said that he is well within the guidelines to do so.

WHY doesnt the FA just tell refs to yellow card any players who swear at them or other players and send any manager who is acting aggressively towards an official to the stands? simples!!!

P.s if there is a FA member in disguise reading this then i would also like to introduce the stopping of the clock when the ball goes out of play so nobody can complain about the added time... Just saying...

The thing is that if their team hadn't dropped 4 points to this 'wee team' last season, they'd have won the title. Funny that

Surely I'm not the only one amused he is raging and trying to engage the manager of some PL strugglers in mind games/war of words. At least there was a reason for the niggle when KK had his TV rant <laugh><laugh> I'm convinced he's had too much Christmas cheer.
