QPR midfielder plots Liverpool shock By Jacob MurtaghDec 28 2012 Add a commentinShare.0 Share on emailShare on print Stephane MbiaSTEPHANE Mbia reckons Harry Redknapp can inspire QPR to victory against Liverpool on Sunday. Rangers go into the game on the back of two-successive defeats, leaving them six points adrift of safety at the halfway point this season. But Mbia is confident Rangers can still escape the drop, starting with victory over Brendan Rodgers' Reds at Loftus Road. âI definitely think we can stay up 100 per cent,â said the midfielder. âWe have got the players, we have the ability and we have the passion to get out of trouble. We need to make sure we do it. But I am very confident. âWe not only want to do it for ourselves, the manager and the fans. We want to do it for all the staff at the club - the medical staff, the groundstaff, the cooks, everybody. âThey do a lot for us and it is time we gave something back to them. I want to assure them we are going to give 100 per cent for them. âLiverpool are a big big team. It will be very tough game for us. âBut if we pull ourselves together I know we can go out there and win. âIt would be a massive win but at this stage of the season I think we can do it. âThe gaffer gives us so much confidence, he uses so many different words, I know we can do it. âWe might be down but the manager knows how to get us up. âWe will come out fighting against Liverpool and for the rest of the season.â Read More http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/london-qpr/2012/12/28/82029-32505460/#ixzz2GLBqKL6N
Do you know what Lads, this player talk-up before matches is the biggest load of sh1te and totally disinterests me (yeah, I know, "don't read it so"...) If you look back over the first half of the season, there's always one quote from a player before our next 'must win', 'shock win', 'do it for the fans win'....... Less of the talking please players, and more of the winning. Thanks. Rant over and out......
Can you honestly believe that he would use such a phrase......i thought he was rather more intellectual than that!
it would be a shock if we beat liverpool,we struggle putting the ball in the net,and i know the defence has improved but they still make mistakes at the back which always seems to cost us
Spot on Thor. They have been the most overrated team in the last two decades. It wouldn't shock me at all - as bad and all as we are. In fact, I expect us to win. I understand where COL is coming from because we really are awful right now but I think this is the perfect game for us.
It does in the sense that Liverpool are perennial chokers when they play sh*t teams. They've been doing it since the PL began.
COL, I've got a thread running over on the Scouse Board. Have a look at what they're saying. They're not confident.
