Morning Lads I hope Santa was good to you all.

Just wanted to post some advice for a decent stream on Newcastle or any other footie game. Some of you probably already do this but I only discovered it for the last 4 matches.

I used to stream my football through the usual channels firstrowsports, vipbox, wiziwigs etc. but found the flash player was making the game very laggy and commentary was falling out of sync with the match which was basically ****e.

A friend told me to download and install sopcast player which you can get from filehippo.com (and loads of other free software) and click on a sopcast link for the match from wiziwigs.tv. The match took a couple of minutes to load but the picture and sound quality is immense even when hooking my laptop to the television.

Its not even 10am and I have already done my good deed for the day.

    I hope this is helpful

Sopcast is brilliant, never had any malware from it. I'm just to lazy to reinstall it.

I have used this way for years, and just installed it on my Kindle Fire HD, not actually tried to watch a stream yet though but will try that soon. Full screen even looks great and it doesnt slow my PC to a crawl and no ads like some flash sites, and no buffering either.

Using sopcast for 3 years now, brilliant stream at times, software is great but the servers of Sopcast itself are utter shaite. I don't know why but the servers seem to be more offline than online. The servers also cause the instabillity of the streams, so when you get angered that it fluctuates from 90% to 40% buffering, it's not your computer or laptop, it's the sopcast servers.

My stream tips: Bloodzeed and the YES channel, both very stable, English and Bloodzeed is even in HD quality!

Sopcast is like bittorrent, P2P (peer to peer). The server just connects the peers to each other then the programme (sopcast/Utorrent etc) then connect to others and thats how you get the files/stream, if the servers are down then you wont get anybody to connect to but it may be slow just because you are connecting to slower peers with slow upload, and you can only connect to about 50 max at a time, 50 dialup users are still going to be ****e, 1 kimulsifi (OVH) seedbox user and it will stream flawlessly, it all depends who you connect to and you cant pick and choose.
