Selection today was poor. Looked like the team had been picked by a committee from the players co-operative. The sooner Harry Rednap has the problem of what to do with Hulse, the better. Stephens can go to Villa on a free after todays inept performance (sadly he might improve their side ) . Seabourne should not be in the side ahead of Evina and Pritchard should have started. Would like to see Kermorgant start with Haynes up front. Fuming after the performance today, would have liked to have blamed a poor refereeing performance but the team performance did not justify any thing better from the ref. Had a head cold when i got to the ground and a head ache when i left.
There is only one Beast of Brittany. The species will become extinct after him. But we could probably assemble almost a complete team of Sodjes if you are interested ... After Green got the early hook, and as BWP is probably buried in the concrete foundations of a new multi-story car park somewhere, that only leaves the Harriott fetishists on here to be suffered. I guess it is just human nature to yearn for a saviour from somewhere, even from among the most unlikely candidates.
swap back to a 451 i'd say. give stephens the free role he wants.... at least then he cant fukc up in front of goal and cost us. frimpong to go back to arsenal, hulse back to qpr, seabourne back to south coast club. we have players of the same quality and can do better than them
Must be meaning me, Eddie! No, I don't think he's a saviour, but LM is his natural position, and who else can you say that about? He was on the bench today, so who knows? The player he reminds me of most is Campbell-Ryce, and he hardly got a sniff either!
Just winding you up, Billy! You may prefer this post: http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/186469-Who-should-go?p=3973308&viewfull=1#post3973308 Campbell-Ryce is one of those who we let go because we had better at the time, but went on to have a very solid career whereas we ended up playing many who were inferior to him.
We were awful today LG really poor look a relegation side made Ipswich look good there again so did you the other day . At least Palarse lost and slipping every cloud n all that.
I don't think we made Ipswich look good at all, I think Ipswich were appalling too, neither side could play at all today, Ipswich didn't look good, as I've said they just looked less sh!t then we did. Maybe Powell will realise what he's doing wrong and it'll be fixed in january, look at it this way, least it can't be any worse again Derby then it was today
Quite right Mike, the attitude, the commitment, the deft touches - but can we have a thinner version than the one that's turning out at the moment?
Strange comment, anyone can beat anyone in this league, we've beaten Cardiff and Leicester. Our away form's a lot better than our home so there's no reason we can't win any of those games, Blackburn are in freefall, with Palace form goes out the window. I'm not too worried yet
Be careful you don't fiddle too long Doc, somebody is playing with matches and Rome is looking very dry!
We had Rommedahl, but I'm a sucker for natural enthusiasm, and so I kept hoping in vain that JCR would get his chance. History repeating itself? Maybe.
We have taken 20 points from the last 33 since McCarthy arrived and we are 5th in the current Championship form table so yeah I spose we are ****!
Not saying you're not getting results, but you didn't exactly pass it around nicely, or nice moves and that, you were poor on boxing day, no idea if you play better then that normally but you were poor just we were even worse, only reason you got the win there
No offence to Ipswich intended, but one thing that annoyed me a lot yesterday was that they seemed to not only be winning but taking the piss too. Their keeper especially was on a wind-up, but even opposition players were doing dummies and letting the ball roll out of play, it really seemed like they were just having a bit of fun and not even trying.
The only thing that really annoyed me was our first-half performance. I wonder wether The Doctor had them in for training Christmas Day? If not I hope they've been in for extra training since................
Their keeper was a wind up merchant feigning injury ect... And he was very poor didn't get near any crosses that came into the box.
