What's the betting motd shows only our goal and then all their chances and shearer say our goal shouldn't count

I thought the samesame Tony. If he isn't interfering then Evans doesn't need to play the ball. Bloke is maybe a tad biased!! I hope we score past them in the same way and wonder if he'll think Fletcher is offside?? ****wit

Smarter man than me said if a footballer is on the pitch and not interfering with play, he shouldn't be on the pitch.
Never a goal in a million years.

    Zabaletta slight tap maybe? :p

Just watxhing SSN and they have the official football rule book out. The law states (now don't shoot the mesenger) that the ONLY way a player Can be deemed to be interfering is IF THEY TOUCH THE BALL. Evans was the only one who touched the ball and it was a correct decision. Yes he can give off side and yes he can give a free kick for pushing pulling, or even scratching his asre. But it was a correct decision...

When I first saw it I thought offside when the ball was played but, when I watched it again this morning there was no foul no grabbing and according to the rules which are a joke anyway not interfering with play. He was in the box the ball was played to him so how is he not interfering? the rules need re jigging I think but, as they stand now it was a goal.

    Who cares?

You won, we lost, no point in arguing because it doesn't matter.

Just watched your game Tash thought second half you got sod all from the ref and were unlucky but, that's what playing at OT is all about the only way you win is by scoring goals they can't argue with and, Fergie can argue against anything/everything and usually does.

Following on from that Ferguson's behaviour was disgraceful and his attempts to bully officials into giving his side decisions should be acted upon. In my opinion Ferguson should be given a touch line ban.

Concrete Tony is quite correct, managers should not hector the referees, and Fergie deserves a spell in the stands. Larrson was booked for approaching the assistant referee in an aggressive manner in the game against Southampton. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander, but this is Fergie we're talking about and we all know that the FA are **** scared to sanction him.

his behaviour was a ****ing disgrace, completely trying to manipulate the ref and linesmen. he has to get a ban for that behaviour.

the 'debated' goal is v. difficult to call, but he didn't touch the ball nor was he in line of sight of keeper when the ball came in. evans gets caught out of position and is too busy trying to push/foul cisse and ends up fumbling into the ball. if he'd stood up and defended properly he wouldn't have lost his balance and og'd.

The only way Cisse was interfering, was having his arm pulled by Evans.

It was a bit of both to be honest, and I don't think that Newcastle could have had grounds for complaint had the goal been disallowed, just as Man U haven't with the goal been given...In other words it was debatable and open to interpretation..

Fair goal for me but I can see why the supporter of an oppo would see it differently. If I was a Man U fan yesterday in the heat of the moment, I'd have been pissed. Under the rules its a goal though.
