Not sure if we would have won but at least have drawn. Despite my rants, I'm pleased with what most of the team has shown today. But the fact that the team needs reinforcements can't be masked by their effort tonight.

Oh and Sir Alex is an absolute c***. One of the world's biggest and wettest. Canny manager, but overall, a big red-raw angry-frowning vagina.

Just thought I'd offer that there.

Carver isn't much better, never has been like, but at least he wasn't moaning about a subjective offside call.

Isn't that an insult to a big red-raw angry-frowning vagina.

A large section of the Manchester United squad caught a virus..except De Gea..he can't catch anything.
Well at least when the ball hit Van Pussy, it hit something soft...his head. Ferguson must have been on the toilet duck when he said that it ''could have killed him''.

Does the 4th official have any actual duty? What is he being paid for? Stand-by ref?

He just stands there and let Sir Alex berate all the other officials for minutes. I think we're lucky that only Valencia's possible red went against us, because otherwise we'd be livid instead of just simply gutted.

When you think of Pards being banned from the dug out it makes you wodner what kind of power Fergie has over the FA.

Yeah, the refs do a difficult job, and the current legislation is simply not good enough for protecting their in game neutrality, nor ensuring their safety.

It's such an obvious thing it really is annoying that the FA are so slow on it.

    1. The ref and helpers can only be spoken to by the captain, and only then without threatening language/behaviour. Once the ref decides the conversation has run it's course, a yellow must be produced for back-chat. A manager or non-captain player will be sent off for engaging in any conversation during the game about the ref's performance.

    2. The ref must be given a platform to discuss decisions at the end of the game in a positive atmosphere, not one of blame or condemnation. It would help improve ref performance and fan-ref relations, in my opinion, for them to have such a public method of self-appraisal.

    3. Stop the clock. Subjective tickity boo about injury time is a pain in the neck and one more rope around a ref's throat. When the ball goes dead past 90 mins, game over.

Yet to meet anyone who has ever disagreed with these principles!

Great game, though I probably wouldn't be saying that if we lost.

Bizarre decision for the own goal. I thought your player was interfering with play as had he not been in an offside position Evans wouldn't have needed to be ther to connect with the ball.
