QPR players hit out at 'disgrace' Bosingwa

Jose BosingwaSOME of QPR's senior players have blasted Jose Bosingwa over his decision to refuse to sit on the bench for the derby win against Fulham earlier this month.

The former Chelsea defender was slapped with a £130,000 fine and cast huge doubt over his future at Loftus Road over the snub.

Rangers boss Harry Redknapp revealed several of his squad were disgusted by Bosingwa's behaviour.

He said: “The good lads would be sick. There might be one or two of his pals who might think ‘Well, you know,’ but the Ryan Nelsens and Clint Hills and all the good lads all thought it was a disgrace.

“That’s the first time it’s ever happened to me as a manager and I’ve managed some pretty temperamental players. I’ve never known anyone to do that.

“It was something new to me and not something I like.”

QPR are expected to try and offload the right-back when the transfer window reopens next week, but there may be a shortage of takers due to his high wage demands.

And Redknapp has refused to guarantee Bosingwa would be restored to the fold even if he issues a grovelling apology.

He added: “When you are down you need help. When you are playing Fulham at home you need help. We were desperate as we hadn’t won a game all year.

“You need everybody to be with you and say ‘Okay let’s get on with it,’ not ‘I’m not happy to sit on the bench, let’s talk about it on Monday.’ You don’t go home do you?

“His future here depends on his attitude really. We’ll have to wait and see what happens.

“The fans pay their money and deserve to know the truth. They don’t expect one of their players not to want to sit on the bench.”

Nice to hear that Redknapp has engineered instant harmony in the squad. He's truly a miracle worker.

Nice of him to attribute opinions to people who can obviously speak for themselves as well.

I wonder if Taarabt was among those who think he was a disgrace.

Isn't it just Harry having another pop based on his assumed reactions?

Personally, I reckon Gandhi, Isaac Newton and Henry VIII would have been shocked and appalled.

    Divide and rule.

Personally, I'm backing the 'Arryites... whoever they turn out to be! Drop the dead wood!

Stan, at this stage you can't attribute your disliking of Redknapp purely to his record alone. You would be treating us as Mugs.

You might as well just spit it out. What is it precisely that constantly brings up such snide remarks about the bloke?

Not having a go mate. Whatever your reasons, they may well be spot on. Imaz had a similar animosity towards Hughes when he joined - one that couldn't be attributed to his record. It looks like Imaz was right. Maybe you will be too.
