Harry RedknappHARRY Redknapp has targeted up to FIVE January signings in a bid to save QPR's season.

Rangers are still within touching distance of safety despite just one win so far, and Redknapp wants to boost his squad with an injection of new blood when the transfer window reopens next week.

He said: “I'm probably looking at [bringing in] four or five players if I can pick them up, maybe some free [transfers] and loans.

“If we can get some good lads in here who I know will have a go we will have a chance.”

Redknapp insists he needs players with a proven track record and will scour the market to find some gems who can make the difference to QPR's survival bid.

“I need people that can come and do the job,” he added. “I need to get players in who I know and if I'm wrong I'll take the blame.

“I've got some players in mind. You look at lads who are out of contract in the summer or not playing somewhere, or someone from abroad that you've seen lots of and you know.”

Clint is safe I think. I think H likes SWP so maybe he'll be safe too. Bosingwa won't be in the 25 so he will either rot or go

 

5 players he trusts then. Dawson, Parker, Crouch, Keane, Beckham? Probably not but we might see 1 or 2 of these.

I don't think Clint or Shaun will be dropped i.e. you could start with Boswingwa, Johnson, Hogan, Dyer, Granero, Park & SWP

The only loss of those going would be Granero but at least hed bring in some cash.

 

Harry to bring in Crouch and Bent to score the goals. Lampard and Etherington to create them and Dawson to prevent them going in. Five quality players Arry can trust.

Can't see Villa letting Bent go to us on loan. Likewise can't see us paying 10 mil for him. Etherington isn't a terrible shout, like that. Can't see Crouch coming though.

 

The only way Bent comes if its a loan with a clause we have to buy if we stay up. Villa would be insane just to do a normal loan.

 

DJ scores again today. Has to be put in the 25. QPR in the blood and in **** hot form.

who would join a club certain of relegation...no good players that's for sure however harry tries to get them...They wont want to take any chances of playing in the championship next season, Its detrimental to their career...
