Ferguson has a degree in incoherence. I don't like him, never have, and do not buy in to the myth that he is something special. His background dictates what he is,and the less said the better. Bill Shankly was a much better manager, and a nicer person. Just my opinions,of course.
Facts of the matter ... RVP was so unhurt by the incident he was able to jump up right away and risk a brawl. Ash and Chico, what a pair they are becoming, kept RVP, Rooney, Hernandez and Wellbeck - everything SAF could throw on the field - off the score sheet for the entire game. That's saying something. SAF is used to dominating and he just throws a tantrum whenever he doesn't get his way, especially on the field. he'd better start getting used to it.
Same to you Vetch and all the others here, good to see the Swans causing some havoc up there in the PL, long may it continue
sir Alex is a very passionate man and nobody can deny his achievements as one of if not the finest managers in world football. His record is there for all to see, He will always stick up for his players no matter what whether they are right or wrong in public but behind closed doors he lets rip at his players and they know they have been reprimanded. He is a special breed of manager who will walk all over the opposition if they let him and he is not afraid to speak his mind whether he is right or wrong, He is brilliant at playing mind games that all managers play even laudrup but sir alex is the master of it. He would not appear on BBC MOD for a long time until they apologise to him for something that occurred and they missed him more than he missed them, He will try every trick in the book to unsettle the opposition and the officials to give his team any advantage he can however small. If his team dont play well or lose then he will say something controversial about the game to divert the attention away from their poor display or losses, That's his way and lets be fair here it has worked for him for a long time and he has won many trophies and a knighthood doing things his way...I do admire his no nonsense man utd before anyone approach whether i agree with his comments and style of management or not....
Ferguson is just a bully, and I cannot for the life of me see why so many people have been suckered by him. I guess you really can fool most of the people most of the time. His predictability is nothing if not predictable. He is way past his sell by date and has too much power, which he exercises and takes advantage of at every opportunity,as evidenced by his appalling outburst over the weekend. He has no shame. I do not see him as a force for good. Consequently,I feel that he has a deleterious effect on the game. The award of a knighthood merely pandered to the large following United have and was clearly for political gain. Others more deserving have gone without.
Ferguson has lost a lot of credibility amongst the footballing world and maybe his own players after his recent rant.Time for him to jump before he is pushed.
I remember old chopper Harris, and Billy Bremner! was only knee high to a grasshopper then, but dirty Bremner was at the right club with dirty weeds! Was a Hammers supporter as a kid, Bobby Moore, Martin Peters, Jeff Hurst, hell how the game has changed aye..........
Some real sweethearts in that video. Ron Harris --- "if he was in a good mood he'd put iodine on his studs". Brilliant.
