I think the number of loan players in one team is 4 at one time, as I remember Leeds getting in some trouble about it in there last season in the prem when they had 5.
I think it the number you actually play at one time that is restricted. I think you can only have a max of four on the pitch. Someone may correct me but I seem to remember this from NW's days.
