there will be a candlelit vigil in churches all over the world for the quick recovery of Robin Van Persie and what can only be described as one of the most horrific crimes ever seen on a football pitch.
I'm still stunned at the carnage I personally witnessed.
I think hanging should be brought back for Williams preferably at old trafford.
God Bless.

Yes, a horrific experience for a footballer, the ball making contact with the head. Could be brain damage, and then he'll start spouting off the same crap as his manager.

10 out of 10 to Fergie for deflecting attention away from the fact that they could only draw with Swansea.

Ferguson should hang his head in shame - in Holland this month there was a linesman who was killed whilst officiating - with this in mind, it's an absolute disgrace that SAF should even utter such trite comments.

I expect RVP is embarrassed. Same old Man U......

He's basically deflecting attention from a crap performance and marking the ref's card for future games...

What an awful horrific and heinous crime. It's time to kick footballs out of football.

I'm personally canceling Xmas until I see justice done. I urge every other like minded soul to do the same.
these teams doing such appalling things against utd ( like tackling, scoring, passing ) must be stamped out ( no pun intended )

The game should be played with foam footballs and the players should wear slippers.....on a pitch lined with cotton wool. Then the poor little luvvies would be safe.

It was actually the CIA that kicked it at him from a grassy knoll.

The powers that be don't like the Glasers hard earned bank loans being seen to be paid into a Dutch economy that sanctions the legalised growing of cannabis.

You heard it here first.

I'd have been there in person but it's windy and my candle blew out and I got lost.

Still, it is good to know that fans of all clubs can unite for those important issues that supersede the game.

I can't wait to unwrap and open 'Footballers' Cluedo' tomorrow.

I bet it was 'Ashley Williams' in 'The Liberty Stadium' with 'The Ball'.
