A great point for the Swans today, but it's straight into another hard match in three days time.Reading will be desperate to win so the Swans have to be ready for a physical challenge. There will probably be one or two personnel changes especially as some of our players were knackered at the end of todays match. A short away trip for the Jack Army and I have a feeling we will bring home the three points
Hope so Reading were unlucky against Citeh and they'll be getting ready to really have a go however I think we can have the quality to frighten most teams in the prem!
Hard game, our set piece play really needs looking at, it is killing us ! Im confident we can get something if we start well, i think the game may be made for Pablo H. i would like to see Kemy play but i doubt he will the way he was knackered after the 70min mark, he may well need more than 48hrs rest! Reading may want this game too much and that may work in our favour, i think the pressure is now all on them and they will come out all guns blazing, i would be happy with a point but think all 3 will be possible especially later in the game . I just hope we can soak up the first 20mins.
I hate playing bottom sides period..We never seem to put in a performance like we do against the top sides and struggle a bit.....We must start as we mean to finish and play like we do against the top sides and score as many goals as we can as early as we can and kill the game off...Reading are not bottom for nothing so really there is no excuse why we cant get the 3 points...
Agree on set pieces (attacking and defending them), reading will be tough as they have been unlucky recently but if we can't get 3 pts there I will be gutted. This might be a better game for Ki to play so that we can play Kemi next time against fulham. He looked the business yesterday and is a better player than Ki imo. It would be great to have Pablo back as few defenders can deal with his passing.
Got my ticket and will be joined by the other 2999 jacks, cant wait. Will be tough, as has been said we dont really perform against the bottom sides. But if we have ambitions of top half finish this is a gmae we should go flat out for. Will be interesting to see the personel changes with another 2 games in a week. Will we see the return of Hernandez.
Anyone got a spare ticket ? ive got to drive up that way so it will be a last minute thing for me if anyone doesnt make the bus or journey for whatever reason!! i will drive up to the ground and try and get in the home end if i cant sit with my fellow Jacks! I will also try and behave not like that twat who got throw out yesterday from the east stand when utd scored! who gives these guys tickets ? Anyway if anybody knows of someone dropping out just inbox me and i'll meet you up there and buy it off them
For the first game this season I fully expect a win. With our defense getting better game by game, Hernandez back and our good form we should be more than able to get 3 points. 0-3 Swansea
I don't know what to expect. Reading were killing United with their set pieces, and as we know, were not the best at them. Think this will be a high scoring game, but wouldn't be surprised to draw or lose. 3-2 Swans.
But Man Utd's goal didn't go over his head, it came about waist high for him (knee high to everyone else).
Team news; Swans: Michel Vorm, Dwight Tiendalli, Chico Flores, Ashley Williams (capt), Ben Davies, Leon Britton, Ki Sung-Yueng, Michu, Wayne Routledge, Nathan Dyer, Luke Moore. Subs: Gerhard Tremmel, Kyle Bartley, Garry Monk, Kemy Agustien, Jonathan De Guzman, Itay Shechter, Danny Graham. Still no Pablo.....maybe taking no chances with a run of big games and the cups! Still, a good line up I think and pleased to see Moore given a start
I like the link up between Moore and Michu. Two technically good players with an eye to goal. Moore will shoot from distance. Both can head the ball. Nice line-up and plenty of go-to strength on the bench.
