Up, done the polite bollox with the inlaws now getting nicely drunk. Watching NFL because its like Fergies worst nightmare. It's the automatic version of the death dealing ball.

Anyway that's all besides the point. Google the SeaHawks stadium. It's new but small. 67K. But ridiculously close to pitch. Has highest decibel level of NFL. It's IMO class.

    Give us that FSG!

Watching the game and the woman on the sideline just did a sound-check. Three steps back from the mic and she was barely audible.

Looks like a good stadium, but the cost will probably be too much. It cost $430m dollars to build in 2002.

The sounders only fill half of that ( some rule they can't use the upper level???) and they are tremendous. Probably the best and most vocal fans in MLS. <ok>

I love grounds like that. I love the noise at the Millenium stadium and Celtic Park. The Westfalenstadion would be a great one to look at too. Granted the capacity is greatly increased by the standing areas but it's still 66000 when it's all seated.

Not that I'm expecting us to build/re-develop anything while FSG are the owners but we can dream.

What we have in Liverpool is something pretty unique. Two big clubs situated really close to each other. We are a football mad city and yet there is a total disconnect between the two grounds. Thousands of people come to the area every single weekend and yet what's there for them? The idea of a modern football/sports Quarter between the two grounds is not only viable, it's madness that it still hasn't happened yet IMO. Both clubs could be making a fortune and using those profits for stadium improvements/development.
