Christopher Samba refused to commit his future to Blackburn beyond the summer as his club's top-flight future remains in doubt.

Samba, 27, who almost joined Arsenal in January but has since signed a contract until 2015, said: 'Everyone knows I am ambitious.

'You only have one career so you need to make the best of it. I've committed myself to do my best for Blackburn and then we'll see in the summer.'

The centre half accused West Ham striker Carlton Cole of diving to try to win penalties as Rovers drew 1-1 at the bottom club.

But do they ?? Arsene was saying Djorou has come on this season, they have vermaelen to come back as well as koschielny and squillaci . I think he would want to strengthen other areas, meanwhile we sneak in and snipe...... he's ours

 

I reckon Samba's 2nd best behind Vermaelen though. Not fussed on Koscielny especially

 

Djourou has come on a lot yeah, and what other options they have are pretty decent, but to be honest not enough for title challengers. decent, but not title contenders in my opinion. samba could be that strength they need to hold their defense together.

much rather we got him obviously. couldn't give a flying **** about arsenal unless it came to beating the mancs or anyone near us in the table.

 

pretty much agree with you A.H - I just think Wenger will see the key areas as a combative midfielder, a new keeper and possibly another option up top to help R.V.P, this is what i'm hoping for anyway so he leaves CB for a while longer.

 

aye yeah midfield is probably his biggest concern what with these reports of fabregas moving away!
would like the arse to improve next season to give the mancs a run for their money after a poor end of season for arsenal

we've not been personally linked with samba though, so it's really all just a dream and i cant see it happening

 

same here, as much as I would love it he's maybe out of our reach for now. However who knows what our scouts in France, Holland and Belgium will discover ..
