So it's ok to pillory Levy and AVB but Harry must be allowed to speak his mind unchallenged. Perhaps we need to remember who is actually working for Spurs atm.
Well said, I don't understand the constant bitterness towards Harry. Looking at the crap we play most games it's like loosing the will to live. Mr Blanchflower would be turning in his grave.
Harry had his head up his arse, he had a bad spell, everyone knows why, its old boring news...what distractions has the current bloke got? As far as I'm concerned, he's turned 3 of the front 4 Harry used to great effect for the most part, and made them look like they've all met for the first time just before kick off.
I think it's a perfectly good reason to have a go at him. As he mentioned in a separate interview, we're a well run club with a sensible wage bill and he brought us up for absolutely no reason when asked about his current side. I've always criticised him for his stupid bullshit in the media and he's consistently given me reasons to do so. He did a very good job for us, yet he still hasn't learned when to shut his big mouth.
It's not bitterness it's just countering the Harry love in, which ignores the failures of a man largely interested in promoting himself and one who was always ready to rubbish some of his players in public.
ive said it before but will say it again...the Harry show has resumed at Loftus road for those interested. Think the rest have got a manager to back at Spurs who has just got the job recently.
He's been in the QPR job two weeks and is already having a pop at the club paying his wages: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20828024 Saha was on £55k per week and Pienaar on £60k - funny he wasn't mouthing off about agents or wages when he signed them...
and now Demba Ba says he has rejected an offer of 80k a week from QPR..Harry just cant help himself..once again hes looking after himself incase they go down he can blame the over paid prima-donnas the club had before he came.
Brad Friedel posted this on his twitter feed today: "I know there has been quite a but of speculation regarding my future. All will be revealed in next couple of days. Happy Holidays!!!" Worth keeping an eye out for.
Sounds like he's going, CS. With continued speculation surrounding Cudicini joining LA Galaxy, I'm rather unconvinced by Villas-Boas' claims of us not doing any business.
To be honest, I'm not that bothered by what he's said, he just sounds bitter. I could understand that Levy probably won't be best pleased to see that 'Arry's having cheapshots at him in the media considering how much he did for him. 0-0 at Sunderland? 1-1 Stoke? 1-0 West Brom? 0-1 QPR? All last season. Dislike AVB all you want but lets not remember 'Arry with tinted glasses, the problems were there then and they're still there now although it's partly been exasperrated by even more teams playing negative anti-football and us having a lot of changes in personnel.
I'll exercise my right to remember Harry how I want thanks very much, and if I consider AVB not to be the right man for us, I will continue to say so. .
And I remember all those White Christmases here in London in the last 50years. Oh, that's right, there were only Two!!
It's a free country of course but what I was saying is that 'Arry was not able to get us playing freeflowing attacking football against these teams that sit back either.
Harry is only saying what we all say on here. And by the way he has a right to have a dig, badly treated by Spurs (based on what I know) and so why not have a dig, totally understandable. I'm amazed by the lack of bitterness, and he has been very complimentary on MOTD before taking over Rangers.
