well, just got back in

and I've got to say that the standard of refereeeing is ****e
the overall performance today was really shocking
this has become a feature of todays ref's following the fact that they are no longer assesed
they are making the rules up as they go along
where the f*** did he get 5mins added time from then go into the 7min of added ??

I thought the ref was average but not that bad
It was the game itself what was bad, QPR were awful and Newcastle lacked a cutting edge

What an awful awful game of football today. It looked like League Two standard.

You will have to improve to stay up. We're past the point of rescue unfortunately.

great result today, the way we played wasn't that important.

For me... Shola has to start on Boxing day alongside Ba.

It's all about the 3 points for me so I'm happy and slowly getting pissed.

 

Didn't think much of him myself. I think all ref's should have regular eye tests because we've had some lately that seem to have missed a hell of a lot of things. I'd hate to say they were cheats and on the take but they've let a lot of things go that have happened under their eyes.

 

Good result. Pitch was hard work and QPR were incredibly negative, just camped in hoping for a point. Fair enough in their predicament. Great subs by Pards, won us the game. Nice to see him do things a bit earlier (even though he got booed - those fans want to have a look at themselves). Obertan does seem a lot better on the left.

3 points was the main thing and we need to target Everton next. We need to try and spoil against Man U and Arsenal, anything from those 2 would be a bonus.

 

i thought we were quite good today, just lacking that cutting edge which is a given considering we don't have Cabaye or Hatem... need Marv to play against man united to create some chances

 

I can see us getting a draw at either Manure or the Arse.... can't decide which one tho...

 

I booed, feels abit daft now but i was VERY annoyed that Ba was staying on the pitch ahead of Cisse and i actually thought it was a disgrace... i did appreciate the fact he was changing things earlier though and would have been happy with shola for Ba

anyone else get the idea that Ba is being greedy to try to impress bigger clubs to sign him?

 

Oba looked good as soon as he came on. His first touch was great and he made a great run down the line without doing anything silly, and put a decent cross over.

 

We were dreadful and a 1-0 win was about right.

How you can complain about the ref is beyond me. Every time one of ours breathed on Ba you got a free kick around the box.

 

Didn't make a very good job of it if he was trying to impress anybody.

 

thats why i said trying! he annoyed me so many times with **** turns that get him no where and taking over free kick duties because of one good free kick last year!

 

I just don't get that mate. Personally I'd have took off Ba but at the end of it we need to be pulling in the same direction on match day.That just doesn't help anyone. Thats why we have forums, vent your spleen on here. Maybe we wouldn't have scored had we left Cisse on, who knows? We need to stick with manager and players.

I don't think Ba is trying to advertise himself to buyers. However I do think he is trying to silence those who doubt him/his commitment and did think today he was fairly poor.
