Biggest difference today.... Sunderland's midfield has been fluid. They've all gone forward, they've all come back. For the opening hour, we were too rigid in that respect with too much distance between Cork/Schneiderlin sitting deep and the front four running around like headless chickens all trying to head the same long ball as each other and nobody picking up the scraps. Getting a bit better with De Ridder and Davis on now though. Final ball still awful though.

He is only young though to be fair. And its his first season in the premier league. The leagues he's played in will not be anywhere near the level of intensity and quality of the PL. So it'll take a period of time for him to adapt to the league. I think Adkins is doing the right thing by easing him into the team slowly.

Ramirez's passing has been dreadful today. Must try harder for 12 million

Come on my break at work to see we're losing and by the sounds of it, we're poor...

We need to scramble something out of this as home games in second half of the season are much harder.

Really cant see us getting back into this, Sunderland are just killing off our attacks every time. This will be a huge loss if we get 0 points from his.

Particularly as Sunderland haven't played well to win this.

I agree, we played like this against Reading and won due to how poor Reading are, now we have come up aginst a respectable team we're done for.

Our forward playes have been very very dissapointing. Lambert not involved, Puncheon ineffective and Ramirez useless. Oh and now here comes Guly! Oh god. J-rod must be fuming

Help us now. We've got De Ridder, Guly, and Cork on the pitch with Lambert double manned and looking laboured. Equaliser can only came from Gaston or S. Davis???!

I dont think I need to mention the player we've missed today.... looks like without him we have no invention or understanding going forward. I'll take him back in the next game as my Christmas present thanks

Saying that, Gaston only scores tap in's because he's not been bought for his shooting. S. Davis it is then!
