Derby team is: Adam Legzdins, John Brayford, Richard Keogh, James O’Connor, Gareth Roberts, Paul Coutts, Jeff Hendrick, Craig Bryson, Will Hughes, Michael Jacobs, Conor Sammon. Bit annoying that Hughes lad is playing, doesn't look that good a team though. But with Robinson and Davies on the bench they do have options.
They selected their game to show months ago. At the start of the season, Sky usually aim to show all teams in the league by the end of November. It's after Christmas they start to pick more significant games with the teams doing well at the top and those not so at the bottom. Also you're forgetting the only reason we are playing tonight is due to the shoppers in Derby - not to create an option for Sky. That said, should the other game have been postponed for waterlogged pitch,frozen pitch, whatever, then it would have been a suitable swap for Sky had they needed a replacement.
So, all the players who were suggested to be doubtful for Derby are all in the squad. Saw that coming.
Suggestion on Humberside that an article written by Swanny in the HDM had greatly upset the Derby squad, to the point of them being VERY angry and wanting to beat us! I'm sure they waggled a fist menacingly at the time. Burnsy asked the Derby radio bloke if they'd pinned it on the dressing room wall....he didn't know. But still! Scary stuff... Made me laugh.
