Just listened to CH's briefing ahead of the trip to the Hawthorns and Holt is not being ruled out of selection. Has to be good news for the team. Personally, I'd like to see him rested and be fighting fit for the games against Chelsea and Citeh. <cheers>

Do we though. Would our best shot at 3 points at the hawthorns be a better use if holt than against Chelsea and city game we will probably lose even if holt does play.

Or he's keeping his cards close to his chest, hopefully holt is available even for 20 minutes, best chance of a victory could be to grind out a performance then unleash holt for the last 20

Morison to start and Kane to feature late on as a like for like substitution.

I'd love a chance to see (and I'm sure the player would, too) to see exactly what Morison can bring to the party. 5 - 10 minute 'cameos' don't really provide enough clues?

If we don't have a fairly able Holt deputy, in his enforced absence, then it's time we addressed that. CH has addressed every other area of the pitch <ok>

Morison's good enough when he gets in the groove. Got 6 in 10 last season when he was a lone striker, once he gets going he is more than capable just needs it to click

I cant see Holt starting if it was a Hamstring issue even if it was only a light one. I would much rather rest him up and have him at 100%. I cant imagine anythign worse than playing him and causing an injury that could see us without him longer term.

I see Holt, Hoolahan, Tettey and Bassong as players who are really pushing us on, I would hate to be without many of these players for too long. I also class Ruddy in this although Bunn is doing his best to deputise.
