..Swansea have won just one of their last nine league meetings with Manchester United; this coming back in January 1982 at home, thanks to goals from Alan Curtis and Robbie James.

Manchester United were the only side to have 50% or more possession against Swansea both home and away last season in the Premier League.

On average, Manchester United score their first goal of a game the earliest (26 mins), while Swansea score their first goal the latest (52 mins).

Manchester United have scored more headed goals (10) and more goals from crosses (14) than any other Premier League side this season.
25 of the 26 goals (96%) that Swansea have scored in the Premier League this season have come from open play.

Swansea goalkeeper Gerhard Tremmel has the best saves to shots ratio of all PL ‘keepers this season so far (81%).

15 different players have found the net for Manchester United in the Premier League this season; more than any other side.

Both Manchester United (87.4%) and Swansea (86.3%) feature in the top six sides with the best passing accuracy in the top five European league so far this season.

Id be interested to see a link for those possession stats. I seem to remember them on the back foot at the Liberty last year and spent most of the 2nd half defending. I remember thinking how well Vidic had played that day

They most likely got it from OptoJoe on Twitter lmfao....

Today that site announced the following:

1965 - The only time Chelsea played Swansea in the League Cup was in 1964/65, the same season Bradford City last met Aston Villa. Quirk.

I'm with you RVD, I'll choose to believe my own eyes rather than the BBC.

Espn who showed the game live saw it 50/50.
