He doesn't, but I do. GC wanted to play the good guy and wear a white hat, then he needed to be a good guy and deserve the white hat. GC and LUST has not smelt right to me for 12 months, and no one can accuse me or quite few others of not voicing our concerns. One of the apologists mentioned Stockholm syndrome, they had the right argument but should have been addressing a LUST EGM. It is time for LUST members to say enough and either resign or vote the clown out.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, if I could change things that have happened in the past, I would!!! What GC has done in the last couple of years was (I consider) a selfless act, absolutely no financial gain. Fine, he likes the limelight. At least he got off his ass and did something constructive when the rest of us were just bitching about Bates.
Hindsight had nothing to do with it. Those who didnt believe or merely questioned the nonesense were demonnised as "haters". What did he do? He went from a nobody to a somebody (at least in some opinions), and that is not a selfless act. If he had a shred of decency he would have walked this morning instead of this vote for me pantomime. If he is remembered at all, he will be remembered as the man who had a good cause and blew it with his media whoring and inability to STFU at the appropriate times.
If its not accurate then expect a libel case and a public apology in the mail. Also, the interview with bates makes me sick, stinks of ego fuelled attention seeking and a desire to be admired for doing nothing right for 8 years

The way papers write, it makes it very difficult to prosecute. All they have to do it stretch the truth, beef it up a bit, give it a good stir and sensationalize the headline.
Because Bates is more or less history now, and GC wants to be part of the future. Bates gets his big farewell party tonight and will then become a side show. No matter what, sometimes even if you cannot stand someone you have to take your hat off to them. Bates has ****ed us over royally, but for him to go out with us playing Chelsea at ER, and him giving each of us the finger deserves a certain amount of respect. For an old cnut he plays the game like a champion.
Bates certainly hasn't forgotten. Haven't you questioned the timing of this attack on GC? Doesn't it make sense to you? This information has been in the public domain for years, so why wait until now to attack? Because it suits Bates to discredit GC on the eve of him proving that Bates was wrong with his rantings. He's played the game magnificently, I have to say.

Fair point but while forums can be a great thing, it also makes it too easy for people to hide behind keyboards, using fictitious names and slag off anyone they like. No proof needed of course.
