Love watching Fringe - pity this is the last season!

Films - Well I was 2 years old and I (apparently - according to my parents) sat through the entire original starwars film in 77 so it has been one of my favourite films

I've just thought of another classic and it's a boxing film "The Champ". Would encourage everybody to watch it <ok>

Love these. Love the soundtracks to these types of movies too. Platoon had a bit Otis in so always a winner with me. Less hard hitting but I loved Good Morning Vietnam too. Another great soundtrack. All three great war movies.

I always thought "Run through the Jungle" by Creedance Clearwater Revival deserved an appearance in a Vietnam movie, perfect track for it. Of course it did get an outing in Tropic Thunder <laugh>

I watched a documentary with Quentin Tarrantino and he was at pains to note how important is a soundtrack is in a movie.

Too many to mention but High Fidelity, Goonies, Gremlins, Ferris Buellars Day Off, Godfather movies, Scarface, Carlitos Way,The Thin Red Line, American History X, Charge of the Light Brigade, Zulu, The Bridge on the River Kwai, Anchorman, Talledega Nights, American Beauty, Donnie Darko, Lord of the Rings movies, Raging Bull and of course..............................Finding Nemo  Depends on the mood really.

The Wire first 3 or 4 series are amazing. The last one so so but I had to have the box set. Homeland has been great. Sopranos fantastic. 24 is just class, I love the brutality of Jack and his interrogation techniques.

Other box sets Seinfeld, Northern Exposure (I loved this when I was younger - not sure about now as I haven't opened the boxset <laugh>), Curb your Enthusiasm, Blackadder, Summer Heights High, Flight of the Conchords, Tenacious D TV Series.

I have Entourage off my brother at present but haven't started watching, just couldn't get into it. Does anybody have any idea if it is worth watching?

On the movies how could I forget Chopper! Quality film.

Slightly off topic: I watched 'Despicable Me' DVD with my children last night, couldn't say its a up there with the all time favourites, but surprisingly, I thoroughly enjoyed it worth a look if you have bairns to keep amused over the festivities <cracker>

That's the only film I've she'd a tear or two while watching. Although Gran Torino (which is also a fantastic film) almost got me going as well.
