    Just had an email from British Rail about special pricing for travel between the 7th January and 1st March. Could fit the Norwich and Spurs games in with that timetable and go by train instead of the Supporters coach.

    Offer ends midnight tomorrow.

    Anybody else had the same message?

    Used to travel to loads of games by train - until tv started playing around with kick off times/dates.
    Can never get a train back from London on the same day due to late kick off now!
    Makes a mess of planning, costs more etc.
    Rant over.
    Good luck if you do use the train - a damn sight more leg room than the supporters coaches! (and I can remember the Armstrong Galley ones too from the unofficial shop at the Haymarket!!)

    That's the problem with booking in advance for the cheaper fares, the dates being changed means you can lose money instead of saving it. The fans get no consideration at all.

    I remember the fat twat that used to run it

    kicked me off the bus in Boro, for no reason
    had to thumb a lift (scarey stuff in smogland)

    I was only 15 at the time, and still hate the bastard to this day

    The only away game that I missed that season was away to Liverpool
    and unknown to me at the time, was that the lads I was with at the Boro match, where banned from the supporters coaches following trouble at Liverpool the week previous
    he had seen me with them at the Boro game, found me on one of the coaches and forced me off the bus
    I didn't know if anyone questioned it as I was dragged off by the neck
    I remember his name well, well you do if some twat does that to you

    Ah - the good old days - keeping your gob shut so you didn'tget kiced off - whilst the fat twat and his cronies behaved like now-all ****es.

    SPMS -I'm only 1/2 days older than seaweed - 'til Sunday!(Then I'll be as old as fossil fuel!!!!)

    these are good travel deals.
    I often get a £21 return to London KX or a £9.50 to York return from Durham.
    People say the train has had its day but you can't beat a ride on a choo choo.
