Chelsea can't get the flight they wanted and won't arrive back in the UK until tuesday, when they will travel straight to leeds. Disappointed about the club world cup, knackered and without a training session, we stand to do well.
Reports say Chelsea land this afternoon, after playing the World Cup game, they wouldn't have trained til Tuesday anyway, surely?
Then I must have gotten mixed up. The last I heard they had had their flight cancelled and wouldn't be back until Tuesday. Must have just been Chinese Whispers.
Boro looks like being a fair bit better attendance wise. Attendances won't go back up drastically until our season ticket bad increases again. Obviously that can't happen till at least next season. 9000 ST holders is very low. If that can be increased to even say 15000 then we'll be getting back towards the size of crowds we got 2 years ago
Anyone know how reliable this guy is ...? Agent_TwP ‏@Agent_TwP Warnock to bid £500k for Frazier Campbell in January, and also is interested in Jon Stead. Agent_TwP ‏@Agent_TwP Warnock is interested in Ian Harte as a solution to his left back problem. Jerome Thomas looks like he'll return to WBA in January.
Yes! It's quite a culture (and temperature) shock, having just moved from Svalbard, but the island lifestyle is pretty much the same. Getting my private hovercraft to the Chelsea game on Wednesday along with some Caribbean top boys in the Rodolph Austin mould, but I'll have to dodge the missiles from the Hull fans en route since I'm river-navigating via the Humber and the Ouse and the Aire to get into Leeds in time. Could have gone up the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, but OB and barge gyppos would have been all over it.
couldn't hear much from the kop in the south stand, but considering how few of us there was in there thought south stand was better than I expected.and much better than against Charlton.
