Pardon me boy,is that the Tottenham Hotspur choo choo? Off the blooming rails by the look of it.....but to be fair,Swansea were awful and came for a point! Serves them right for going home empty handed!Just what they deserved. Please!Benny,Bale and Kaboul....hurry back! Can you believe how much we are missing our little Croatian.Hurry back you little twit.Real don't seem to want you..... I'm missing the Harry brand of football to....but could even he improve our team this season? We may be high up in the league, but apart from United and City, the rest might as well give up this season!!!!? if anyone else wants to be Champions or runners up!
Swansea were a disgrace to football today - morally bankrupt - absolute jokes - the people who were scared of Swansea - why? They bottled it big-time, and then some.
HI BS - I'm not missing Luka at all - we should have sold him last season we're doing better without him - I'd rather have Hugo and Jan for the money - no danger
Really, what is the matter with you and this verbal of a fellow Spurs fan?? Lloris is a good keeper and had did some really good things today. But equally, there are still too many communication breakdowns which seem to impact on the players in front of him. So he is no way perfect just yet. Suggest you read the Sunday Times article today which offers a comprehensive and objective view of the situation.
You're right Relayer he didn't give the ball away, but he had no confidence to go to the byline on the outside on the wrong foot, neither did Lennon tbf, he was forced to go sideways or back, kept things ticking as you say , and earnt a free kick or two. I just felt it was a wasted opportunity to try and kill the game with a 2nd goal, get it out wide and give them 10 minutes in their rightful positions before seeing out whats left. Just stretching their back 4 may have opened up the middle, it gives better options in all areas. I don't understand swapping sides unless the player relishes it, and has two decent feet.
No need to be abusive, you just look petty and bitter. Not sure it was a masterclass either, he only had one save to make and came out well at the end to level Michu but other than that he could've pulled up a chair and read the paper.
The save that he made didn't even count, as Michu was given offside. Still had a decent game, as he did what he needed to do, it's just that he was virtually untroubled for the entire 90 minutes. As YV says Ghoddle, drop the insults.
Really, Lloris was mainly a spectator. A masterclass against a team you then call a disgrace for not venturing out of their half. The fact you've failed to spot his dodgy decisions see's you as more than naive. In your eyes I suppose we should all go and have a **** over a few punched clearances. A very poor post.

I love AVB's ties - he looks like he's still at school You must all be a lot happier with him now though.
Very important three points for Spurs against a very well organised Swansea team who made things difficult for us today. But after we finally scored, I thought that we were more likely to add further goals than for Swansea to equalise. All our players were a credit to us today.
steady on gh10, swansea are a great wee club with a manager still finding his feet in this league so they will have a up and down season. They have had many ups already but today was a down.
The Times article was a really good read actually, agreed. I must say I concurred with the viewpoint expressed within and although its all well and good now to say (with hindsight) that perhaps AVB should have started playing Lloris immediately I personally don't think he could have managed the transition better - Lloris is now clearly first choice and looks very well settled. Job done. That said I don't think that debate needs restarting on here so I'm going to be quiet now........ Good win with players missing, against a team with a goalscorer in the form of his life and who have already claimed big scalps away from home this season in the League and League Cup. It's definitely fair to say the scoreline flattered them. Onwards and upwards.
Was a solid but unspectacular performance, couldn't believe the stats when I read it though, didn't seem as if we had that many shots. Was very surprised at Swansea's approach, bar about a 10 minute spell in the first half they seemed reluctant to attack and play the ball like they've been creditied with doing so well since they came into the league. They adopted a park the bus approach which was weird to see. Vertonghen and Walker (so glad Walker is nearly back to his best after his awful start to the season) were fantastic, Lennon's work rate needs to be praised, the amount of times he tracks back goes unnoticed by a lot and I for one am delighted with his form this season. Thought it was Naughton's best game at LB, he was very solid defensively though did waste a few crosses. Sandro and Dembele controlled the midfield but we did look very flat at times without Bale, I'm not saying we're a one-man team as we clearly aren't but his loss is huge (to be expected) and the sooner he's back the better. Thought Townsend had a great cameo, I think I'd rather seem him given a start on the wing while Bale is out, we're far better with two wingers and he created a couple of problems for the Swansea defence and took the ball out of defence a few times to relieve the pressure, it was the foul on him that led to Jan's goal, so thumbs up to him for making an impact. Best part of the game though (excluding the 3 points of course ) was Scotty's return, delighted he got the ovation he deserves and within a minute of coming on, made a great clearance from a Swansea corner. Great to have him back.
Bale is one of Tottenham's best players and we certainly feel it when he's not playing. But our record without him this season is only slightly worse than when he's been in the team: With Bale: P19 W9-D5-L5 Record: 60.53% Without Bale: P6 W3-D1-L2 58.33%
Quite surprising that, I thought it'd be a lot worse if I'm honest. Good to see though, cheers THFC6061
It's Dembele that is a statistical standout. We've only lost once with him I believe - and that was last week when he wasn't even on the pitch.
