As a ffc fan for over 35 years, i know my football club, i know the games where we can cause upsets, i also know games that we lose, this saturday has a qpr win written all over it, whenever a team has not won in a while, we oblige, sunderland this season had not won away in a year, yes they won at c.c. there is loads of examples on this, one that springs to mind, we played northampton away 1992-93 they were bottom of div 4 in having only scored 1 league goal all season at home and this was november, 1st round f.a cup, we were league above them, we lost 3-1, i honestly believe rangers will win 2-1, i might feel a bit more confident if we had ruiz linking up with berbbatov. then maybe this will kick start your season
Thanks mate but it's a little bit depressing when the supporters of the team we'll be playing next game come to our board and cheer up us. Let's hope you're right
is that we do to our neighbours when times are a bit tough, you are unbeaten in 3 should of beat villa, better times ahead
Hope you are right, but I fear our ability to get teams on a bad run back to winning ways will triumph over FFC abilities in that same area. (And thats the only area we are superior to Fulham right now)
i watched the Fulham / Newcastle game last night and Berba frightened the life out of me, one proper footballer
You know what FT I was thinking the exact same thing. Even as a Fulham fan I have been hoping QPR win over the last few weeks cuz I know if we play you whilst you haven't won you will get that against us. Hope I'm wrong but good luck for the rest of this season.
Thanks Fulham It's no biggy if we don't get a result but I am certain that when we do win it will be by winning well and we will then grow very quickly .
That really is an extraordinary OP from our Fulham friend. It resonates because fans do have a "feel" for their Club. An unexplainable connection that defies all logic. Fulham traveller, I salute you Sir.
You are so right Hoopster..so many of us knew it was coming too. It is a strange but true connection, we do feel the tempo of the players. All of a sudden my mood has lifted...and just perhaps....just perhaps....please!
I think that's moreso for the people that are actually from the locality. If you're born and bred near your Club, you must have something that no Johnny Foreigner will ever have. Not for long. Your e-husband is getting himself into all sorts of trouble on the other thread!
The attitude difference was like night and day if you compare it to the saints game. We were 1st to the 2nd ball every time today, we wanted it more than them and we have a chance if they show that fight every game.
thank you, i did not think it would be that easy for you, your midfield was fantastic, the whole team was really good, two one flattered us. i am not trying to take nothing way from rangers, but will green, hill, nelson have a easier day. on another post i predicted 2-1 rangers with a o.g to boot, though the first was adels, i was not far wrong, well done rangers play like that at home every time you will be easily be safe
This was a rare and refreshingly nice thread. Thanks for your comments FT, and thanks for being so gracious. I wish you all the best mate. Real football fan.
Fulham traveller, you got that spot on. Would you mind doing my lottery numbers for next week please?
They are ... Supporters from other teams are human ... it's our club that has come infected with all the stuff that has happened. Others fans view us (or used to) as a great little club that always played great football and has a cracking ground. You only only have to look at this tiny snapshot of not 606 to see the fickle infection. We have become hated here and there by our own actions and i don't stand with those people ... i told of this last year. Fulham people are our people and we are currently the borough's form team
