i posted earlier this week that I hoped to see Tarbs in a more central and advanced role supporting the lone striker.
    Col, you commented on it.

Is this where he played last night? Havent sen the game yet but hoping we were both right on this subject?

As for all the "we can beat everyone"crap...wake up guys..!
Going to watch the whole game now, with a good view, no obstructions or bad views and plenty of replays . No heads in the way, stewards pissing me off or cramped seats. Good atmosphere and beer in hand!! Wonder why people prefer to stay at home.
As for my opinion, just like liniker, Shearer, Hansen, and the whole host of ex players who did not attend the game...what do we know?. The average joe at the game with a bad view and poor vision has more validity than those ex-players & pundits who dont attend...?
    #STUPID!
Will comment on the game after I've seen it !!

I said so too, agreeing with COL's line up. Taarabt in behind Cisse.

Look at the prediction thread, I said we'd win with Tarbs to score too! :emoticon-0102-bigsm

player X has 1 good game in 17 & and people cream themselves....Hope for al thier sakes that he continues this form through to end off season
I have every intention of absolutely crucifying him the next time he has a bad game....then again, the fact that he is the new messiah means all his fans should have nothing t worry about eh?
    Inside 1 month i reckon ?!
I think a lot of posters shouls think before they post....you know who you are...going to watch game now...see you on the other / happier side !

With respect, what the **** are you on about? You hope, for the sake of those who rate taraabt, that he continues to play well?! Hope for the sake of the team, and all things QPR that he does.

You're gonna crucify him the next time he doesn't play well? Let it go mate, Taraabt is one of the good guys, and a ****ing massive talent - and he's ours, he's R's.

Mate, with repect to you plenty of people want to openly crucify myself and Swords because we do not bow down to the general view re; tarbs.

I hope he continues to perform and will happily accept stick from others if he does, but make no mistake, I will give it back when he doesnt.

if you rerad this forum today you will see that those of us with reservations about tarbs are being openly criticised...Surely i have a right to reply.

For the record, i think tarbs has been generally good this season and have openly said so, but he is not the messiah or the best in the leagu as some have posted. i want nothing more than succes for our club and if i'm wrong then i'm man enough to put my hands up....ASome others aren't

Thats all mate, just a bit of history really, im off to watch the game. <ok>

Taarabt will have bad games but the fact that our most exciting player excites people shouldn't be surprising.

It's all been said before - shocking first half of last season, improvement in the last 10 (with a couple of match winners thrown in) and an improved workrate.

The marked improvement in the last 6-7 games this year and the fact that he seems to genuinely accept responsibility for sorting out our current plight (sometimes trying too much) should give him some sort of allowance.

In all probability, the fact that he's had the attention and success this week, he'll get a little complacent next week but the lad (immature for his age) is starting to grow up.

While I agree with your view about the benefits of home viewing, I can't deny or fault people who sit in the ground, with restricted views a bit of partisan hero-worship because they fork out nearly a thousand quid a year (minimum) for the right to demand entertainment.

Doesn't necessarily mean it's reasonable (or more valid than an arm chair based partisan view) but that's for the manager to decide if he's worthy of a shirt.

My personal preference is for players that can do something different, unique almost, with a ball and so, for a few fleeting memories, I will cut him some slack and fall completely into the rose-tinted brigade (and wouldn't have it any other way).

Looking forward to it. But you might when giving your verdict like also to reflect on the wisdom of your subsequent comment in this thread that "player X has 1 good game in 17 & and people cream themselves....Hope for al thier sakes that he continues this form through to end off season."Also "I have every intention of absolutely crucifying him the next time he has a bad game....then again, the fact that he is the new messiah means all his fans should have nothing t worry about eh?
    Inside 1 month i reckon ?!"

You have often proclaimed that if you are wrong you are man enough to put your hands up. Let's see shall we? The trouble with your acknowledgments of Taarabt's good moments is that you are far too ready to seize on any mistake and to belittle his overall contribution or they come over as meal-mouthed and begrudged. Almost as though its choking you to say it. "Did well today but could do better and needs to keep up that level of performance over the whole season to be accepted by me as a good player." Why do you feel the need to reserve the right to crucify him the next time he has a bad game? We can all see that when it happens and so can the manager. It might explain the need for some of us to crucify you when he plays a blinder, with a match winning performance.

You have often said that some on here are AT "arse lovers" or that some have proclaimed him the new messiah. I personally don't recall anyone referring to him as that - please let us know who it was.

Thing is Adel was a class above every one else on the park today. He also worked at least as hard as anyone on the park. Extremely good stuff, even though his detractors will find mistakes to focus on - he was perhaps trying too hard. Unfortunately the big boys (and I don't mean Morocco) will want to take him January. I just hope TF and his mates have got the Cojones to say No.

    You were wrong.

The thread is up 5 hours at this stage and not one single person agrees with you.

    Conclusion, it is obvious????

Looking at yesterday's game, I think Harry has found a free role for Adel where he can hurt the opposition and, at the same time, give the team a much more solid look as with Adel further forward we are not as exposed on the left if he loses the ball. The big question will be can we risk the same type of line-up at Newcastle? Harry has said we have to go for wins, it'll be interesting to see whether we go for it up there...

All-in-all... a great day for Tarrabt and the team to get the much needed win (and monkey off our back).
Always love to see any player turn in a match winning performance; today's was Tarbs - well done lad, you deserve the plaudits.

Now lets move on and put more points on the board. The hard work still needs to be done!!
Looking forward to the next player to turn in a match winning performance for the team, the club and the great fans who have followed the club this season.

I'll give you DT in his numerous disguises. He's always been a bit eccentric butrarely gets personal with it. I think you know what I mean. Any other pant creamers you want to remind me of?

I couldn't give a flying **** about a few opinions on here and Queens and The cross dresser have made their views known on Taarabt ...

In short you two and anyone else who have continually slagged off Taarabt are completely wrong . The player albeit not complete of course is a pending world star .

Queens Taarabt is the most skillful playmaker in this division

He will have bad games in the future but overall he can only get better
He is QPRs best player for years
We also have a list of other greats in fact the best ever squad

I was in the Fulham end yesterday with some mates and generally around me they think he is outstanding

You will always get people who knock just for the sake of it

Faurlin was excellent as was Mbia

In this world of n606 I love the fact that at last its looking good and I am proud that I have never given in on our team or players ... Flyer gets respect for praising NO ... Collectively we should get behind our team now

    mmmmmm

    More personal digs at me.

The people are lining up to disagree with you Queenie.

Of course, all of the people are wrong all of the time and you are correct, as always.
