He is a season ticket holder for Man Utd and is travelling home now. He sits next to the away fans and said our supporters never stopped singing for the whole 90mins and a few renditions of "you thought you had won, but Sergio scored" were heard. Ha He said 1st half was the best Man Utd have played at home all season, he said Sunderland never stopped though and showed lots of desire, which shone through by our consolation when they eased off a bit. As a Man Utd fan though, he is absolutely buzzing about the performance. Maybe we should ease off a bit. We got beat by who I think will end up champions, who were on fire and up for it.
exactly mate we were always up against it and after a few stupid mistakes gave a really good go of it! we had more shots on target then them i think.. we will come good for sure
I never expected to come away with any points , and we didn't. So i'm not too disappointed. Now let's go beat Southampton. KTF.
What I find annoying is that most teams seem to have their "best performance of the season" against us. Players who score 1 goal a season "score it against us". There is a trend there. And I suspect most teams play well because quite franky we play poor. We let their midfield play well, we let their strikers look good. As I say, annoying.
Annoying mate but, nothing new it's been going on for years. Strikers on a barren spell knock 2 in, keepers play out of their skins we were never going to win today but, to be as bad as that in the first half (again another trend this season anyway) is just asking for trouble. We can blame the reshuffled defence, the tactics whatever we just can't give teams a 2 goal lead before we realise we have kicked off.
