Walking away from todays game i couldnt help thinking what a proper end to end physical game of football it was . 3 O CLOCK KICK OFF .. Challenges , chances etc etc .... A Mans game . A decent game to watch . not too much histrionics ... diving about like a sniper was in the crowd ! just a good English game of football like we used to watch !!!! 1-1 was prob the fair result i suppose unfortunately Fellaini took it too far .. and prob should of been punished and will be enuff said ... But how refreshing to watch a game without all the bollox that comes with a game against the like s of your Arsenals and Liverpools .. players diving around and rolling around at any given time . Well done stoke city and everton Refreshing change !
I think it was a proper game because the ref allowed it to be a proper game. There were quite a few incidents and challenges that other ref's would have booked players for. I like Halsey he just gets on with it and is no prima donna referee. Even though it was another draw it was a real exciting game to watch. Jones is a lazy ******* and ought to wear a mask when picking up his wages, but fair play he got the goal that counted today!
That's all fair enough but that Fella nini jesus what an idiot and there we're a couple of player's trying to con the ref Jelavik spelling holding his head????? err what for. That apart I also thought it was a very good hard fought game a pt each was well fair. Also likes Moyes for saying he had seen the headbutt. we all did, apart from the ref. And, I yes ME I let Ryan outta the car park on the way home.. he waved and blew a kiss to Ma Lady. I shouted there's only one Ryan Shawcross and he flashed at me.. Nice one Potts ha ha. I saw Ryan Shotton a week ago Wednesday going in a bacon butty shop in Fenton lol! It was the day he was switching the lights on though so I cut him some slack
waddo i agree ..... halsey does let a lot more go than other refs .. seems to understand that a foul doesnt always need a card !! which is the pathetic way we r goin but ........ I thought he had a decent game and if he aint seen the fellaini incidents then so be it !!
He is a good ref, I like him and Phil Dowd, both try to let the game run, and I've noticed they talk to the players more than others, explaining their decisions, rather than just waving a card and running off like some referees.
I thought it was a cracking game today (even though it was on last on MOTD today), end to end stuff and a proper game, really enjoyed watching it.
