Now there's been some ignorance regarding the correct word for our game!! Soccer is the correct term, but we all now use the term football, so get your votes over there and make sure you vote Soccer, and if your not sure about the term then trust me 'Soccer' preceded the term Football for our great game by about 18 years! here's the link to the Survey: http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/184311-Football-or-Soccer/page4 Here's the link to the facts: http://www.todayifoundout.com/index.php/2010/06/the-origin-of-the-word-soccer/ Come on lads vote Soccer and sort out the backward, the game needs your support!...............

Probably Phil showing what we think of QPR. I want nothing to do with them. I find the vast majority of them racist and the worst posters on here. The sooner they go down the better and when they do I hope that next season that Cardiff do the double over them. Two 5-0's would do, that's how much I despise them. Oh and it's football not bloody soccer
They do have some beauties, I'll give you that Dilli, but they are not all bad! Know where your coming from though, and by the way it's correctly titled Soccer, that was it's founding name, long before football was ever conceived as a title, and that's a FACT, Your grandfather would have laughed at you had you told him you were going to a footy match, he could even be forgiven for thinking, you were going ballroom dancing!.............
Barcelona are a great footballing team. On Saturday lunchtime on BBC you can see Football Focus. On Sky on Saturday nights you can see Football First After MOTD you can see The Football League show. We play in the FA Premier League and compete in the FA cup. The FA stands for Football Association. Monday nights Sky show a programme called Live Ford Monday Night Football. Are we seeing a bit of a pattern emerging here ? Not the word soccer in sight because we're not bloody Americans
Now you might kick it with your foot. But what about the head, chest, knees, or basically anything other than your arms, elbows and hands. So aye Soccer might be first and the most fitting term but **** it, it's football to us now.
I'm mentally scarred reading this. French kissing your granny Looks like the Jacks think its football Phil.
As are Saracens. One is Soccer, the other is rugby. What about "Soccer AM" and "Monday night Soccer" programmes? What about English Companies such as Pro-Direct Soccer? Although reducing what should be an historical debate to what certain TV shows are called is very poor stuff to be honest. RFU = Rugby Football Union...... NFL = National Football League...... AIFC = All Ireland Football Championship...... AFL = Australian Football League All are forms of football and naturally, like ours, have football in their titles. Are we seeing a pattern emerging here? I'm not saying that our Governing bodies shouldn't use the word football. All other codes do too. All I'm saying is that we should use our own particular codes name (Association aka Soccer) more, so as to distinguish ourselves from the other types of football out there.
Look, you don't seem very popular on the QPR board so I'll cut you some slack because if they don't like you them you must be ok. It's football !! FIFA and UEFA run the game and not a mention of soccer in sight
If you really know anything at all about the game we love then you would know the proper term is SOCCER...football is officially a rugby game...rugby football, If you are observant you will spot at st helens the home of the all whites (nick name) the sign above the club house "Swansea Football Club"....we all call it football today as it has been adopted many years ago....how many of the oldies can remember the Soccer Annual your parents would buy you for xmas....so the true name is Soccer and not football...
