By whom exactly? You? If I posted a thread on the Liverpool board saying we were considering making a bid from Messi and that he was interested, would that make it true or credible? No! Its also typical "ITK", as they call themselves, behaviour to lace all of your rumours with caveats such as "but it may not happen" or "its not nailed on but its definitely a possibility". Would be a great signing for you but seems like a rubbish rumour to me.

Its quite clear that Liverpool fans are quite irked by little old Swansea city these days..how the mighty have fallen, reduced to coming on the swans board for WUM fun as they dare not venture anywhere near Evertons or Man utd's... Their bitterness in getting stung for 22m quid is starting to show through and the jealousy of the Swans is flattering but boring me to tears TBH The humiliation of them offering 6-8m for michu and downing or henderson was worthy of a comedy classic,which is pretty much how most people view Liverpool these day-comedy classic The odds are it gonna happen,that is obvious! point is many thought that about pablo,michu,Laudrup,sinclair etc,etc.

I said after you knocked us out of the League cup that I hope you go on to win it because your fans deserve it more than most and would appreciate more than Arsenal's fans, for example. I was only commenting because the article subject interested me, nothing to do with jealousy. I suggest that if none of you like an opposition fan posting stuff that isn't a 100% positive on your board that you'd be better off signing up to a Swansea dedicated forum where every viewpoint is biased in Swansea's favour.
If you like to play football a certain way, there really is only one place to play in the Prem. That's not to say the Manchester clubs aren't top notch, or Chelsea and Spurs for that matter, but they don't play the same style as us. If Villa can't crack the starting XI at Barca then he has two choices .... don't play or Barca B (not much of a challenge really) .... or the out-of-the-box option is come back to school with the Messiah at Swansea. Play the progressive / Spanish style in a tough league against "foreign" competition, learn a little, sharpen up and be ready for the next Spanish squad call-up .... cause if he's not playing regularly he is not going to get called up.

I guess you haven't met Dai yet then. Nothing wrong with opposite viewpoints, creates debate and a bit of banter. But this rumour has been going on for sometime now and if you look at it logically Swansea would be a perfect fit for Villa. To get fit and despite his prowess on the ball; learn something from a master of ball control. So to me and a lot of other Swansea fans, this isn't a "rubbish" rumour.
I do see why he would be a good fit for Swansea. But arguably he'd be a good fit for any club, as he's a world class player who scores goals wherever he goes. And I simply cannot see him turning a Juventus, Arsenal, Chelsea or even a Man City down to play for Swansea. And that's not being disrespectful to Swansea, because I'd probably think the same if we were trying to get him.
You underestimate the pull and esteem Laudrup has. To be honest this probably is pie in the sky, but even if it doesn't happen, I wouldn't mind betting that Laudrup has got another Michu up his sleeve in January so I think it's looking good whatever happens
Aye but remember it will only be for half a season if true and we do have a good number of Spanish players here. So that might also put Swansea ahead of other teams. Well we will just have to wait and see. Sometimes I don't know what to think. We having been flying higher and higher every season and I don't know when or if it's going to stop. Progression seems the norm. A big player coming in, well it seems it has to happen at some point. I'd like it to be this January.
