OddDog must have an outside chance after a victory here on his seasonal debut, but failed to act at Newbury next time out. Both Ardent and Bucks were both put away after their respective 2nd and 3rd placings here and missed Newbury to come here fresh. Steveo is always there and presents a danger on his day. Galaxy improved on his 8th here by coming 2nd at Newbury & will hope to go one better. Oldtimer Ron ran a cracker last time out at Newbury carrying top weight but there has to be doubts about him acting at Cheltenham as proven when soundly beaten here before. A live outsider who has yet to run this season is Stick, who scoped dirty on his last run of the season and has since had a wind op.
