Desperate times are these.

Not only have we not won a game this season, but even the posts on here, our board, are drying up ( Understandably so. ). I haven't had much time in the past 48. Only managed to check in and have a quick read as to what is happening on here of late. Not much time to post. Having done that though, it seems to me that the same threads have pretty much remained in that same time frame. Fair play to those of you who have given it a good go though. El Pirata, Cerny and of course Kiwi ( among a few others,) have tried to keep the board moving. But an honourable mention also goes to swords and DT, who although may not be everyones cup of tea, post on every thread and liven things up. Fair play for at least doing that.

Of course, I acknowledge that there are many other posters on here who regularly post. But to us it is like ' Groundhog Day.' We find ourselves going around and around in circles re-iterating the same thing, day after day and week after week. All in the hope that things will suddenley come good..... Jeesus H Christ.........Almighty .........and here we are still bloody waiting. Only us eh?... only bloody us!!!!.... How much longer?

Every dog has it's day........... but alas, we're the exception.....or so it may seem.

We really need a positive result on Saturday, and although things are currently crap and our loafers will be like ice cube holders on our feet, we can make the difference at a sell-out HQ. Our words typed on here mean absolutely nothing to anyone in the universe. But our voices and encouragement can drive on every player at QPR this weekend against the Ruperts. Even if our collective Loftus Road voices bring a 1% change.. that can in itself evoke a much needed victory. For all those that will be there.....

COME ON YOU Rssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!

Your feeling for the Club oozes out of that post mate. Most of us are a bit down when we lose but it passes fairly quickly and we go on to other things. You're one of the few that genuinely hurts when the Club is in the shi*ter. It comes through in your posts almost right out through the Computer screen.

Mr QPR - aka Nines - hang in there old son.

Cheers swords, It's becoming harder and harder to come up with new stuff in our current predicament. We need a win for the sake of all of this boards mental health. I'm thinking about QPR more than I am about sex, and that's clearly not normal behaviour for a red blooded male. :emoticon-0112-wonde

Says the man that gets to squirt his high-pressure hose every day! ;)

I think I might have a couple of ideas for irreverent threads so I'll see what I can do in the next few days...

Unsurprising we're all as flat as a pancake. Not only our unexpected demise at the foot of the big time - but also the ridicule involved whether it's expressed or not.

Only hope is 'Arry. Can he wake the dead and lift our spirits into the bargain? We need a Mackie moment - and then some!

COURRRRsssssss! Wake up ffs.

Sorry lads been away (sunny California and then the freezing west of UK), but back now.
Are we meeting up before the Fulham match or did that idea die the death (Welsh undertaker joke).

Don't worry about our board drying up...we lot triumph in adversity.....come on u RRRS.
It is this Saturday that it all starts a new, on the back of Harrys three glorious draws (2 away from home, I should point out), all those posh Fulham lot will be off spending their Harrods vouchers....probably won't have enough players to put out a team

This game is so important to me! After making the trip to craven cottage last season during a lovely Indian summers day, we whole heartily got thrashed and I've been desperate to repay the favour. A win will kick start this board and kick start our season, as 6 points from a possible 12 isn't too bad form.

Great OP Nines.

I am certainly guilty as charged when it comes to posting less when results are bad, and I can’t ever remember results being this bad!

The truth is that I already dwell way too much on our defeats as it is, trudging around like a bear with haemorrhoids for half the week, making life miserable for all around me. So in an effort to avoid thinking about it I tend to steer clear of all things QPR-related when we lose, including this site, at least for a few days. By Tuesday or Wednesday though a tiny spark of totally baseless optimism usually returns, and I give in to temptation and get back online.

Franckster - I was there at Craven Cottage last season too. The thing I remember about it most though was not the 6-0 thrashing, but the fact that throughout the game the QPR fans never turned against the team and in fact out-sang the Fulham fans to an almost embarrassing extent. While the Tarquins and Ruperts silently sipped on their pimms, only half-aware that there was actually game of football being played, all that could be heard around the Cottage was the QPR fans chanting “Six nil, and you still won’t sing!”.

I think a little bit of that positive, sod-the-results-and-lets-have-a-good-time-anyway attitude is probably what we need right now. As COLIN used to say a lot: Just enjoy it!
