I was under the impression we was going to hear more, ie definitive plans around late September .....Emm
not a huge surprise that's on the back burner though eh? If we get relegated it's never going to happen.
Gone a bit quiet on that. I reckon they don't have much to say especially in our current position. Normally these things are announced when things are going well.
Not a surprise no, however it could be something that would lift the doom and gloom surrounding the club & our situation
last thing we need is to have paid off Hughes and co, be saddled with a load of expensive, under performing players then announce plans for a 45,000 seater....just as we get relegated with no telly money!
I sure TF said in the summer concrete plans would be out in the next couple of months, that's now past !!
nope, i agree - i very much hope the stadium is still high on their priorities. i think they've been stung by our current failures and probably don't want to go on too much about the stadium when they haven't delivered the success on the pitch. I think TF is probably being a bit more cautious about what he promises at the moment. Of course...on the other hand he might announce it tomorrow!
I think your right mate TF is probably keeping cards close to his chest after the fiasco with Leslie, I'm sure all is in hand
The new stadium is vip to our future. CB is right, TF mentioned recently that plans/ideas were being drawn up and an announcement was due soon. TF said that PB told him not to mention it. I am sure this was all said at the Man City away (this season). They probably have things being sorted but i reckon they are only interested in staying up. This was the year a team needed to stay in the Prem due to money. If we go down then all blame is on the muppet Hughes.
Spot on It's vital we stay up up this year, we got so much to look forward to, I would hate us to do a Pompey
To be honest,I couldnt give a flying **** about a new stadium.Makes me feel sick at the moment. It will be on hold til they know where we are.
more important things to worry about Adam Hulme ‏@adamhulme86 Looks like an early night it is then. #QPR staff Xmas party tomorrow evening and press conference Friday AM
Thought he said that with the new stadium it was vital for us to stay up....Looks like thats on ice then !
We aren't even filling loftus road at the moment. (Not that I think this would affect us getting a new stadium) As the corporate potential at the Loft is pretty poor at the moment. Altho I do think it would hamper the size of any new stadium. And if we get relegated we can forget about any plans for a new stadium full stop!
