Redknapp offers DJ Campbell QPR lifeline By Paul WarburtonDec 10 2012 Add a commentinShare.0 3Share on emailShare on print DJ Campbell Image 1 QPRâS manager has left the door open for DJ Campbell to provide the goals he needs â as well as save the club millions in the January transfer window. Harry Redknapp is monitoring the efforts of Campbell on loan to Ipswich, and likes what he is hearing, after the Hammersmith-born player shot to the top of the scorersâ lists in a struggling Championship side. The forward who hit 14 Premier League goals for Blackpool in 2010-11 when the Seasiders were in the same dire straits as Rangers are now, is on loan at the Tractor Boys until January. But if Campbell continues to add to the eight goals he has already â Redknapp will send a fast car to get him back to west London. âDJâs out on loan at the moment,â the Rs boss told the Chronicle. âOf course, weâll see how he goes, and if he works hard and continues to score, then you never know.â Read More http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/london-qpr/2012/12/10/82029-32398216/#ixzz2EjGwlcAZ
May be it's DJ who will give Harry the lifeline. A poacher in form and with confidence. Bring him back.
In light of our current situation I would look at this as a new signing with a proven track record in both divisions. MH is a to55er for letting him go. Just because he wasn't a big name or someone he had worked with before. Arrogant pr***.
This I have to say though that I can't see anything at all in this article to suggest that him being recalled is any more likely than it was yesterday.
He'll have no choice if we want him back, he's under contract. I'm more worried about beng lumbered with Bothroyd! Hulse welcome back too
Is DJ the answer? Scoring in the Championship is different to Prem, although he has scored in the Prem.
Dj was on talksport this morning and said he couldn't answer where he would be re QPR or Ipswich, when time comes his people would discuss with whoever wants to discuss. He said he was feeling confident and enjoying scoring even if some of them were penalties.
I think we have to remember we have a new manager who unlike Hughes is looking at all our assets. The media statement release by Arry last week was a good move, it will not go unnoticed by Dudley and will make him for once feel part of QPR. No disrespect to Ipswich, but Dudley is fighting relegation with them in the Championship, why not put himself back into the limelight of the PL fighting relegation with the team he loves. At best he could be instrumental in saving us, at worst he could be the striker pushing us for promotion from the Championship if we do go down. But when all is said and done, he is contracted to us and does not really have a choice. I think he is eager to get back and show us what he can do and knows it is a no brainer.
