I agree, we are playing Reading at home ffs. Saying that if we win, I'll admit I know nothing..

Crazy. Best striker on the field on Saturday (including Torres) and he gets dropped. Seriously pissed me off now

If I was Connor I'd be looking for a permanent move away if this carries on much longer. Feel sorry for the lad.

Team news ahead of Sunderland v Reading.

Sunderland's Steven Fletcher returns from injury to face Reading at the Stadium of Light tonight.

The Scottish striker missed the Black Cats' defeat to Chelsea but is back in the starting line-up at Connor Wickham's expense.

Martin O'Neill makes one other change with Jack Colback returning in place of Phil Bardsley, who drops to the bench.

Sunderland: Mignolet, Rose, Larsson, Gardner, Colback, O'Shea (c), Johnson, McClean, Cuellar, Fletcher, Sessegnon.

Subs: Bardsley, Campbell, Wickham, Kilgallon, Vaughan, Bramble, Westwood.

Reading: Federici, Shorey, Pearce, Mariappa, Leigertwood, Le Fondre, Hunt, McAnuff, McCleary, Tabb, Cummings.

Subs: Gunter, Gorkss, Harte, Gunnarsson, Obita, Taylor, Samuel.

No balls. Back to same same old. Whickham must be distraught. Central midfield pairing must be just about the worst in the Premiership.

    We can only hope.

Only saving grace would be if he put Colback at lb and Rose in cm. Will see in half an hour eh?

Regardless of how ****e the line up, it should be enough to beat Reading.
