Morning all.... even Elland, who nearly forgot me. I was prepared to accept Bates' verion of events because with a French speaking spouse, it made perfect sense for Max's family to want to go & live in France. As to who I'd prefer to have - Max of Thomas? Probably Max, but only just. Signing Thomas up asap would represent real progress for the club, as would all our other loanees. This would necessitate a number of departees as well, Kisnorbo to name but one. Pity, but we need to move forward with as many who could make it in the PL our push us to auto next season if we didn't go up in this one.

Pity about Ben Parker getting caught up in the Bury debarcle. Feel for the lad.

Diouf would be high up my list of priorities. He's been a revalation since his arrival. Plenty of whining, but that seems to be the modern way, as would appear to be wrapping your arms around an attacker & then standing in amazement when the referee gives a freekick against you. Did anybody see Kilgallon on Saturday? He was progressing nicely at Leeds. He clearly has lst the plot since.

I would make bringing Max back the top priority of the transfer window whether we keep Thomas or not. Thomas is a great winger in this league; Gradel is different class. From what I gather he's been doing well in France and is considered St Ettiene's star player, but he hasn't stopped tweeting about us since he left.
