Answering honestly when asked to make a prediction is not 'giving up' or 'giving in'. It's many of the players who seem to have given up. It's what they do which makes a difference. Yes, fans can make a difference on match day and, no doubt, most/all of those writing here that we may well be relegated do plenty of cheering and encouraging and whatnot when actually at Loftus Road. The idea that someone is any less of a QPR supporter because of a prediction typed on an internet messageboard is utter tosh.

I am "less of a football person" because, based on what I've seen, I think it's more likely than not that QPR will be relegated? Sheesh, that whole going to games from the age of six and schlepping up and down the country to see midweek games in the third tier was for nothing then. That whole being a 4th generation supporter from a family steeped in a deep love for the club means nothing. That whole indoctrinating my son to join the QPR fold thing: also meaningless. Thanks so much for lumping me in with the prawn sandwich contingent and casual armchair fans. I see now that they are my true people. CHUMP.
OI TIME, chill your beans son! Read my post again because I thought I was agreeing wiv ya! What I said was, anyone who reckons we'll finish 8th this season or even stay up for that matter, lacks a bit of football knowledge IMO. Oddball is one of them. These clowns that always think we're better than we are and make silly predictions ought to be strung up by the short and curlies!!
Chill out you lot (brilliant start on this cold and VERY frosty morning) I know a bit about footy, as I have said, maybe not as much as some of you....but I have troddged off to Ipswich on a cold wet Wednesday night in Feb, to see the RRRRs draw 0-0. So I am entitled to put my dreams and fears down.....I can hope that for the entire season we never lose under Harry and with loads of wins we creep up to 8-10th (that is what I truely wish and long for).... I can hope that...I will always hope that, but the realist in me knows the wins will be far apart and so in my supporting my RRRs and with my realist hat on....17th is what I think. Yes even that is optimistic, but I am with Oddball a bit on this stay optimistic..we are unbeaten under Harry. 17th is still possible
If I was surrounded by gunmen and running out of ammo, I'd realistically think that I was going to die................however, I'd remain hopeful that, somehow, I could survive and would never give up hope till I was dead!!
Swords is of course right about me My 8th predictions are in fact are at best just plain stupid They are however made to directly conflict the posters on here who consistently post very little else apart from pure negativity.
