Good evening all, Fulham fan,who has a soft spot for Hull, ever since you paid us
    squillions for the great JB.
Seriously though,my question is what do you think of David Stockdale, and would
you want to take him permantly when the transfer window opens.
Hoping to see you next season in the priemiership. <badger><badger><badger>

He's a good keeper, not sure we have seen the best of him yet. Pulled out of a goal saving challenge last match but that could have been an error of judgement, wouldn't want to see him trying to kill himself in a kamikaze move to make up for it in future

    I'd have him permanently.

I think he is a very solid 'keeper and is the best 'keeper we have had since Myhill!

If he's available, I'd be surprised if we don't try and sign him permanently, it's about time we had a first choice keeper who wasn't on loan and he's done a decent job so far.

I had a soft spot for you after one day back in 2008.

He is good, like OLM says, if he is available one would think we will try and sign him.

I would certainly sign him if he is affordable. I don't think we have seen the best of him yet, but he needs to get more game time under his belt and I am sure he will turn out to be a good buy.

You should give us him as recompense for that crock you ripped us off with.

I rate him. He's been solid since coming here, a lot more reliable and commanding that Amos definitely. Should the option for a permanent move be possible in January, I'd love to see us sign him. I'd love to see us in the Prem next Season too mate! <cheers>

Would sign Stockdale in January should he be available! Same with Elmo, Brady & Meyler

That rather depends on the loans contracts. Brady and Meyler are on short term loans so they will have to be re-negotiated in January. I can see Brady coming in for another 6 months to the end of the season, it is highly unlikely he will be recalled. If he continues to impress for the second half of the season at wing-back, I would readily have him in in the Summer and I think he would definitely come if we end up being promoted.

Meyler is the more difficult one. I was surprised MON didn't recall him last week, not sure what that says about his relationship with his owning club. I think our best option is if Sunderland recover a bit and MON keeps his job. That might see us getting Meyler for the rest of the season. Something I would me more than happy about. At the moment I doubt Meyler would come on a permanent, and , to be honest I can see no need to sign him as such. If we are promoted we would surely then be in the driving seat to get him permanently.

Elmohamady will probably be on a loan fee and not be recallable as I don't think he is in Sunderland's plans. Again I see no need to sign him in January as he will be staying here for the rest of the season anyway and again I think we will be in the box seat come the Summer should SB think he can cut it in the Prem.

Stockdale is perhaps the only one I think we should get in as soon as possible and I think that will happen.

Think it's more likely Brady will get another loan move here, than say Meyler, Elmo and Stockdale.

Brady won't get a game for United unless Sir Alex wants to put him in their FA cup matches.

It also depends where the Mackems are in January- they might want everyone back to help out. They've got a big match tonight v Reading and if they don't win that they'll be deep in the ****.

Dunno about Fulham and their back up for Schwarzer, but he might get a knock. Touch wood it doesn't happen.

Anyone thought meyler and elmo maybe available permanently to give MON some fundage and space on the wage bill to bring in who he wants? Might be worth a go for the pair of them, buy in bulk you usually get a bit of discount, buy 2 get one free with FC maybe?
