    Absolutely massive game tmro!

If we attack them from the start and play like we have seen in glimpses over the last few weeks I can see us getting an early goal, the confidence coming back, the crowd behind the lads and we going on to win 3-0.

It worries me though that we will stick with the players that have got us in this mess and play in a similar way that we have been doing and start off poorly, these little glimpses we have seen over the last few weeks have been pointless IMO because it seems that we only start to go for it when the game has passed us by and wer behind.

I honestly want Sunderland to do well like the majority of fans, I don't want us to fail on tuesday so MoN goes like it seems some do but he needs to be more adventurous and if he won't against a struggling Reading team especially after the way we played for the last 15mins against Chelsea then he never will

Come on MoN lets go for it

    Mignolet

    Gardner - O'Shea - Cuellar - Colback

    Johnson - Sessegnon - Rose - McClean

    Fletcher - Wickham

    subs

    Kilgallon
    Westwood
    Larsson
    Vaughan
    Ji
    Campbell
    Saha

nothing to worry about at all against Reading, Rose has looked far better than any of our natural CM's (bar Catts) when he has been moved there, get him the ball (and early) like we have done in the last 15 against Chelsea and WBA and let him make the forward passes to the wings and get McClean and AJ running at the full backs, if they recieve the ball early enough they will cause Reading all sorts of problems and when that ball arrives in the box we will for once have 2 strikers waiting to pounce and not forgetting Sess arriving from deep.

That would be my team too but id have Bramble in for Oshite. Don't care if it looks like players are out of position the centre of midfield is the reason we are in the bottom three so we have to gamble with sessions and rose imo.

Oshea, Larsson and Bardsley being on the bench would give us a chance of getting a result. If all three start then we will be chasing the game again and I don't think we have it in us atm to turn it around. If we give Reading an inch they'll take a mile.

Would you consider a 4-3-3? The extra man in the middle might help over some any short comings in the midfield and with Fletch, Sess and AJ running as part of a three it would be lethal.

We simply don't have three midfielders strong enough to be the middle three unfortunately

I have a weird feeling that we'll score early and trounce them 4 or 5 nill. I have had this feeling 3 or 4 times this season though. Hopefully tomorrow is the night it comes off

This, but I fear Fletcher may not be fit.

AND NO I don't think it is make or break for SAFC.
It is just another game of football in a long season.

Wish everyone would stop getting carried away with this sess rose in cm. Chelseas legs had gone by that point. Different matter tomorrow. Not the time to experiment. But would welcome a new position for sess.

We need to get the balance right now, we were too defensive b4 picking up draws, now we go for it more leaking too easily. Go gun Ho and we could be punished for it.

It’s now or never. No room for bottlers on the pitch or for that matter worrywarts in the stands tonight. Let’s all stand together and roar the lads on to victory in our first season defining game (there will be more).

For me Jimmy and Seb on the bench with Danny in front of Jack and Frazier and Conor up front. HTW
