Yeah I remember reading something similar at the time. Real shame by the looks of things.

Don't think Sterling should last the full game, been way off it today. He probably will to ensure he signs the contract or some ****.

With all the crosses that West Ham do, I'm surprised Carroll hasn't scored more this season.

Getting dominated again. Whole event has got to the team. Need to settle it, keep the ball a bit, thought that was what we do.

I dont think I ve EVER ssen a game where we have conceded goals, where the defence and keeper have had so little to do with the reasons we are conceding. The reasons we have conceded 2 today is the midfield and attack have been sh*t not the defence

So much lack of desire and weakness on the ball. Players just pulling out of challenges, its embarrassing.

    1. Cole? FFS the man is a useless fat sack of wasted talent. We've got better youth players fed up after 5 years of getting nothing but scraps, and yet Cole is the ****ing sub? We've got Morgan on the bench, a recognized striker, and Suso, an attacking prodigy. And you bring on Cole? Is parading him around worth ruining our season? No one is going to buy him anymore, not after the past few weeks.

    2. Downing? Jesus. You can't just plonk an attacking player at LB and expect them to be any good. Especially if that attacking player isn't any good in the first place. ****. They don't deserve a shirt number let alone a place in the squad.

    3. Shelvey? He's useless as a striker. He's got his flaws as an attacking midfielder as well. I'd rather have him actually learning not to lose the ball instead of a new position. We've got tons of youth strikers on the books that are begging for a chance that have more striking talent than Shelvey. He's full of energy but not a brain, not exactly the best qualities for a striker.

    4. You're effectively playing 4-5-1. What happened to the 4-3-3 we used to play? Assaidi, Suso and a Sterling could have actually done something in this match as opposed to a lone isolated striker up front.

If we lose this match, it's due to Rodgers tactics. I like him as a manager and I support him but he's becoming more stubborn than Rafa. Your failed experiments aren't working. They haven't all season. Give up on them. It's futile to keep pushing Cole and Downing into the squad.

I have to blame Rodgers for this (loss?). We'll see if we can change it but I can't see it happening.

We're just so lightweight. West Ham making it physical and we're just getting dragged into playing that way.

By far the worst performance of the season thus far. Though how much is that down to the delayed flight on Thursday? Don't forget we played a lot of the first team Thursday.

Would love to see the 50/50 duels and second ball won stats after this game. They must have a lions share of both of those and are killing us with that.
