Should've put Coates on for Enrique. You'd have Coates height at centre back and Agger's height plus ability going forward on the left.
the cynical part of me thinks that BR wants to move on from the praise he's got for bringing through the youth and get some praise by trying to revitalise failing older players in downing and cole
I still feel we can get a win, it's not going to be easy we just need a few certain players to wake up
I don't think we will see any changes but just can't wrap my head around bringing cole on. Thought Coates in Agger LB was logical and best suited to compete with what WH are trying to do. Hopefully Rodgers lights a fuse in there or says Terry is coming for all of their misses or something!!!!
I know what you mean, the last 25 mins of that was the worst I seen possibly this season, Im just really annoyed Cole n Downing keep getting chance after failing SOOO MANY times
Hahaha I think other posters are right, BR won't make any half time changes - unfortunately. I think his use of substitutions really needs improving, it's ****. Wrong people on the bench, wrong loyalties given to off form players and wrong people brought on. Downing has no clue on defensive positioning but suddenly he's the backup LB >.> Clueless. Oh well, we're not out the game yet. Lets hope for some fireworks
It took Cole 5 attempts to find another Liverpool player with a pass and it was a deflection off a West Ham player.
Why bring on Joe Cole?? He must be beasting in training or something because a good 20 minutes in Europe surely isn't enough. Coates or Carra with Agger going to left back would've made much more sense. Considering Enrique was considered surplus a couple of months ago we sure seem to miss him now.
Need something massive to salvage anything from this game. Will it happen? Not confident if i'm being honest...

Ya, might have been a miss that one. But he played for Wigan, he must be ****, but he has all the tools to be colossal in the middle and will not be at WH for long I think.
