If MoN stays we are going down, there I have said it

The way he sets us up do we look like stopping the rot? Early on in the season we wer managing to grab the first goal but once we took the lead we just sat deeper and deeper and invited pressure and then conceded and from a winning position we would end up coming away with a point when the 3 were ther for the taking or end up getting beat.

Since the 6th game or so of the season we have just got worse, the tactics are that bad!!!

4/4/1/1 does not work, MoN likes wingers who get the ball in the box but when the ball does come in we have 1 man in there against 2 or 3 defenders

we do not get in teams faces that we have been so good doing over the last 2-3years and winning the ball back, we sit far to deep, we are negative and we do not get the creative players on the ball in the right area's.

I honestly feel sorry for most of the players as they must be thinking what on earth, especially the creative players.

Can Anyone argue with that? If so take ya rose tinted glasses off!!!

MoN is ruining us, we seen at Norwich last week for the second half and the last 15mins today that when we go for it then we can cause anyone problems, today we went 2 upfront, got Sess and Rose in the middle and actually looked like a balanced positive side, I seen more forward passes from Rose in the centre than I have seen from Gardner, Larsson and Colback combined this season and Sess got himself into the box with the strikers when the ball was coming in and you would think we would go similar to that against Reading this week and be positive and get at them which may still happen but after MoN's delluded interview sounds unlikely!!!

"we wer good today, the players were commited and they competed well, we had chances that could of got us back into the game"

who is he trying to kid? Is he really that deluded!!! It sounds like a negative 4/4/1/1 again against Reading!!

We all know we do not have a bad team but to set us up the way he is doing will never get us out of this rut, how do you expect AJ and McClean to come good when they whip balls in and we are totally dominated in the box and when Sess picks in up he is outnumbered as well.

The best thing for us is a new manager ASAP, a manager who's natural style is to play an attacking game and for me there is 3 names that spring to mind

    Roberto Martinez
    Michael Laudrupp
    and
    Gus Poyet

Come on Ellis make the decision and get rid now before it is to late!

Roberto Martinez - Turned down liverpool, won't come here. Especially with the impatient fans... there'd be loads and loads of posts bemoaning us passing sideways and backwards, because that's his style.
Michael Laudrupp - Just went to swansea, don't see why he'd come here...
    and
Gus Poyet - Really? If he can't get Brighton into the play-offs he has little hope of keeping us up

some fans really have short memories, he hasn't been in the job for much longer than a year, please, please wait at least 1 more year before calling for him to leave. We will not be relegated.

Don't really want any of them although I do rate Martinez.

We played ok today and I thought the scoreline flattered Chelsea massively, we deserved something out the Norwich game and this one IMO. If we stick with Mon our luck will turn and we will start winning games as all the signs are there.

Changing manager now would be another nail in the relegation coffin.

    <applause>

I would also stick Solskjaer and Di Matteo in there.

Beware of the masses for a post like this mind mate.

Uh, Di Matteo, attacking? I see...

And what exactly has Solskjaer done? Getting him in would be a massive gamble and if it doesn't pay off we'd certainly be relegated

Laudrupp is at a bigger club so he won't come, although i hate to say that, and when you think Chelsea are european champions and our best performance of the season, i think Reading are on a hiding next tuesday if players get into the penalty area on tuesday for a change. Go
    Mig
    Bardsley, O Shea, Killgannon,
    Johnson, Sess, Sebb, Mclean, Rose.
    Fletcher (if fit) Whickham.
subs Westwood, Saha, Colback, JI, and 3 more and go for it, giving Danny the freedom to run at their midfield. Sess was superb today but should be in midfield, and let Sebb hold the middle like Cattermole, and just bomb forward at every oppotunity.

    My team would be:

    Mig
    Bardo-JOS-Ceullar-Rose
    Johnson-Colback-Seb-Sess
    Fletcher-Wickham

What had Steve Clarke, Michael Laudrup, David Moyes (pre Everton) or Alex Ferguson (pre Man Utd) achieved? Keep going on about how great MON is though cos he's doing wonders for our club <ok>

    How?

Oh I get it, because of his past record, his sublime football and his genius tactical knowledge.

I'd try an attacking line up against reading at home.
    Mig
    Bardo-JOS-Ceullar- Colback
    Johnson-Rose-Sess-McLean
    Fletcher-Wickham

Rose and Sess looked good in midfield in the last 20 minutes or so, AJ and McLean also had a good game.
With this line up, I'd go for an easy 3-0 win.

Its beyond me why people want him to stay just cause he is the man we all wanted. Yeh we cant keep chopping and changing gaffers but we cant allow someone to manage who isnt getting results

Like this team but in reality i don't think it will work. Swap McLean for Gardner, stick rose on the left.

Swansea a bigger club than Sunderland? Come off it pal not even a tenth of the size. Do they currently have a better side on the pitch, yes and that's why Laudrup Wouldnt come here plus the fact he's not even half a season in. There's a reason he's at Swansea, he knows if he does well he'll get a top 6 job
