So we're aiming at him coming back for Blackpool? This can show how consistent we can be without our best player though if this is the case.
Great. We dont have another striker in the top 20 goal scorers in the league. I doubt Simpson will start next game.
Sorry misread it, he said within the next 21 days. So it could be whenever between now and the end of Decemeber.
Burnsy is saying on twitter that it is an achilles injury. Lets hope this doesnt turn into a Matty Fryatt. Also that it will be at least 2-3 weeks before he returns. So that doesnt sound good at all. Also that he has just had an injection into it, sounds like a Fryatt thing.
SB says there is nothing sinister from the scan, so not in the Fryatt category although since it's achilies heels Aluko is going to be resting for a week.
Apologies just posted a new topic re Aluko, Bruce saying it aint as bad as Matty`s, that he has had an injection in it and is hopeful it will be ok in around 2 - 3 weeks, also mentioned towards the end of the interview about a deal being in place for Elmo at the end of the season, but then the interview got cut short so no details explained. Interesting one that, dependent on Aluko`s situation this may open up the need for Pop and jnr ALLAM to dip into their pockets for 2 strikers as opposed to 1.
Nah, not to worry. Unlike last Season, we're scoring from all over the team rather than just relying on 2 players. However, an out-and-out striker wouldn't do too much harm!

Simpson played really well today. Great hold-up play and one fantastic burst into the box. Ok he didn't score, but no reason to change today's starting line-up unless Macca injured.
Probably fair to say that I dont have a clear idea since i have yet to watch the game. It sounded to me like he missed a couple decent chances again, and it sure sounded like Pro came on strong.
That ginger looking player you had in the midfield was a class above today. We were missing our man in Forestieri, but you have a great player in that guy. You played the better passing game and he was at the centre of it all the time, untouchable. Probably the best team at the Vic all season. We weren't at our best.... Hull did well to stop us but at the same time Almunia had a **** game and we were a bit unlucky at the other end. Either way you earned your win and nobody has done that against us in a long time so plaudits to you. Can't see you guys falling off so hopefully we'll stick around and see you in the top 6 come May.
Cheers for that. Quinn is fukin excellent isnt he. A genius on here recommended we sign him ages ago........ Wonder how some feel on here after whinging about Watfords loan players, two of ours score the goals!!!!!
To be honest I didn't notice Proschwitz had come on. We played more a 3-5-1-1 with Simpson on his own up front, Koren free attacking role behind, and Evans centre mid, Quinn inside left, Meyer inside right. So Simpson had a lot of responsibility. We won. Why call for Proschwitz to start? Last time it was a disaster. Simmo looked bright, strong and full of confidence.
